Not sure I've seen anyone move like that at that size. Freakish.

Boogie Cousins looked like that at Kentucky too.

And he's still only at 75%! Wait until he's all the way back from his ACL.
Magic says they won't try to fix Lonzo's shot this year.
I haven't seen a shot this broken since Ronnie Brewer...which was an exception, since Ronnie actually had an arm injury preventing him from having the correct form.
What's Lonzo's excuse? That shit is jank.

Anunboy went a pick after the wiz pick that was traded for the rental of bojan--who we didn't even keep. Literally lit that pick on fire.
And Ernie continues to have a job. Continues to do so. Continues.

If he's going to fix the shot it would be in offseason work, no?
By Fenderputty Go To PostIf he's going to fix the shot it would be in offseason work, no?Yea can't fuck with it now as the Lakers are in championship contention and gonna be playing meaningful games beyond March.

Smart ass comments aside, it seems like Lonzo is already working through a difficult transition into the pro level. Why add another wrinkle in development?
By Fenderputty Go To PostSmart ass comments aside, it seems like Lonzo is already working through a difficult transition into the pro level. Why add another wrinkle in development? He should be in the D-League, imo, and if this was any other top 5 rookie you damn bet his ass would've been shipped out there by now. That's where/how he can fix it mid-season.
Anyway:
By charsace Go To PostAyton reminds of Ewing before the knee injury though he isn't finishing like Georgetown Ewing was.
from what I've seen from Frankie Vision highlights... opponents seem to just pack the paint against Arizona.
By livefromkyoto Go To PostAnd he's still only at 75%! Wait until he's all the way back from his ACL.He's still trying to move like he's healthy so at times looks awkward, like almost falling but manages to stay up. Looked good though otherwise
He's got a decent shooting touch and is really skilled. Will be interesting to see how he responds when he can't just overpower dudes he's matched up against.

Disagree ...
Fultz hasn't been sent down and is working on his "left"
D'lo wasn't sent down and was benched half the first year for acting like a 2 year old and committing 5 TO's to his ever 3 assists.
Ingram wasn't sent down either.
Put down your hater tinted shades for a second. He's getting better experience here than in the D league, including defensively. We already know he can pass playing against those players anyway. He needs to learn to be intelligently aggressive at the pro level and can't do that there.

Just maybe he (Lonzo) shouldnt of went top 5?
Ingram's defense last year was enough to keep him from being sent down. He was also getting valuable experience as a ball handler/playmaker at the pro level. I don't think he excelled as a primary ball handler but it at least showed he was capable of it. Everyone knew Lonzo was going to struggle, anyone who says otherwise is lying to themselves. His rebounding/passing/defense is enough to keep him no the floor. The pace he plays at is exactly what the Lakers want and he's running the show well. Even if he increased his shooting percentage by 5-7% that's an extra 2-3 ppg. You got a 20 year old averaging 11/6/7.
Whatever.
Whatever.

If it's Lakers related and Reilo has a comments on it, it's usually trash. You can try and suss out some level of honestly but it's generally clouded. Smokey's comment is probably more accurate, but we aint even 20 games into the season yet. lol
Unless he's playing Eric Bledsoe every night, he hasn't looked all that good. IJS. He really shouldn't be starting at the least tbh.

20 games or 60 games, he has a lot of bad habits and that shot is still jank as fuck regardless. =/

He needs spacing to thrive. Ingram still can't hit 3's consistently and KCP's shot has been broken this season. Kuzma is only in the lineup because of the injury to Nance, which is ridiculous. Our best 3 point shooting starters are the PF and C. It's a bad look, and that hurts his game.

He's shot well against the Pistons and Pheonix. If you look at games besides one's he shot well in, he contributed in other areas against NO and WSH as well. He's playing better defense that I thought he would too.
Like he might not be a top 5 pick when all is said and done, that's totally fair.
By Doomsayer Go To PostKCP's shot has been broken this season. This season? KCP could never shoot.
By s y Go To PostThis season? KCP could never shoot.
Yup. I commented before the season started that the Lakers we're making Lonzo's life as difficult as possible with the way the team was being constructed. KCP has had games and so has Kuzma and Lopez, but nothing consistent. Kuzma is a surprise too. Prior to the season starting it looked like Lopez was our only shooter. There's nobody reliable from distance on the team. Ingram included.
He had 2 average years shooting the 3 in Detroit. Last year he was off to a great start and sustained a wrist injury. The splits are pretty telling.
By Doomsayer Go To PostHe had 2 average years shooting the 3 in Detroit. Last year he was off to a great start and sustained a wrist injury. The splits are pretty telling.KCP's a volume shooter ala Swaggy. He's not actually a good shooter.

LeBron James is 23-0 vs Kemba Walker (regular season and playoffs). Are there any other matchups like this in NBA history where one player has come out on top this many times in a row?
Reddit is savage this morning. Kemba should reach out to Horford, only he knows that kind of pain.
