By rodeoclown Go To PostDo people actually like to watch the Warriors? I don't even hate them as much as they don't interest me in the slightest because they're winning 70+ games this year.
Yeah. I love watching them. Curry (or Klay) getting hot is the most hype shit in the nba.
By s y Go To Postreddit streams are legit better than league pass smh
They have been for a while. I have LP but when i watch live i just go to reddit.
Just finished watching the replay. Capela the starter with the least rebounds, Gordon with 0 threes, Paul with as many points as personal fouls. We fielded an 8-man team, while the Warriors were using the game to level up their young guys.
Weird game that I can't read much into, besides Tucker being our new Beverley. Wonder who closes when Paul is 100%.

So I looked at the injury. Yeah its bad. But from a personal perspective almost the exact injury happened to a friend of mine a few years ago in a pickup league. He was running a break and all of a sudden fell. I turned around and he laying on the ground and his foot was dangling facing the complete opposite way. Everybody in the gym started running lol, but him being my best friend and the fact that he was in shock, SOMEBODY had to help him, so I ran over and threw a towel over that mf so cats wouldn't pass out. He had surgery and the full rehab deal. It took him about a year and some change to start playing again. 8 months for a professional athlete sounds about right.

8 months in Boston though? People are already claiming he will be a rested weapon for the postseason.

yall are still in the early stages of grieving

Man if IT2 didn't want to play he wouldn't have played.

He is most likely done for the year unless we make a deep playoff run
By Kuma Go To PostMan if IT2 didn't want to play he wouldn't have played.Because players are totally capable of rational decision-making when it comes to their personal health and their team's immediate success.

IT2 must be a unicorn then.
So...I did what Hayward did a few years ago. Everything in my ankle was torn free aside from my achilles tendon, which was torn, but not fully severed. I broke bones as well. I had to have a full ankle reconstruction and it was over a year from the injury before I was playing basketball again and I never got better than 80% of what I was. I feel bad for him, and hopefully his recovery goes smoothly. Seeing that happen legit triggered me. He's got a rough road ahead.
I think what makes the IT2 situation sad is that this dude mourned on the court, was balling and his thanks was getting his ass traded.
I understand Boston’s POV but players shouldn’t be treated like merch.

horston small ball lineup is good, even ryan garrity was able to do shit on defense. their ability to force turnovers will be helpful against gsw .

well i mean, its weird
because most teams do this kinda move when the player is a dick, not when he's the fan favorite, playing hurt, and laying it all out there after a family death
it'd be different if IT was made aware ahead of time but it looks like it was completely out nowhere and he'd already made long term arrangements alongside the team
i actually wouldn't be too surprised if the players association didn't throw some additional concerns and protections into the new cba because of it

Shouldn't Portis be suspended for however long Mirotic is out for AND then 8 games on top of that at least wtf
By rodeoclown Go To PostYou only get eight games for breaking your teammate's face and giving him a concussion?Supposedly, Portis took the swing because Mirotic had started to charge him after initiating a shoving match. I imagine that mitigated his punishment a bit.

apparently its been going on for over a year too - if anything, hoiberg and that coaching staff need to be scrutinized as well
By rodeoclown Go To PostDo people actually like to watch the Warriors? I don't even hate them as much as they don't interest me in the slightest because they're winning 70+ games this year. They play a beautiful brand of basketball that I heavily enjoy watching. It's freaking amazing to watch when they're firing on all cylinders.
By rvy Go To PostI think what makes the IT2 situation sad is that this dude mourned on the court, was balling and his thanks was getting his ass traded. So, you do realize this is a business right? This is a two way street, just because IT gave his all does not mean dick if Ainge saw a good deal for the future than "Dumping the Brinks truck" on a 5'9" man who will be 30 come next season with a hip injury that is keeping him out till Jan. IT likely woulda left and the Celtics get nothing, now they have a better PG and have ruined a little bit of will but that's it.

By LionPride Go To PostThey play a beautiful brand of basketball that I heavily enjoy watching. It's freaking amazing to watch when they're firing on all cylinders.I disagree. I just think they're supremely boring. They two modes, one where they let the opponent hang around and then blow them out in the fourth, or the other where they just outright blow people out. I never feel like they're going to lose and so there's no excitement to the games for me.
Like, how many times can I really watch their Monstars team bomb 3s on teams that are just much worse than they are? How is that fun?

I think just about every team except the Hawks give me a reason to actually watch. Warriors just play a style of ball that is beautiful to watch
Now, Thibodeau can lean on Butler down the stretch, easing the burden on Wiggins and Towns' shoulders in late-game situations. To Thibodeau, the Timberwolves didn't blow leads because youngsters were worn down; they just didn't have a bench. It was a roster weakness that Thibodeau admits now falls on him, the president. We didn't have depth, so I changed that by signing 37 year old Jamal Crawford and mostly just running it back with the same bench.
If this team gets to .500, I'll be stunned.

IT likely woulda left and the Celtics get nothing, now they have a better PG and have ruined a little bit of will but that's it.I think the issue here is that management let him play on a bad hip for a chance to make it as far into the playoffs as possible for as long as they did, which then got worse and resulted in Ainge needing to trade him. You don't see the cause and correlation there?
