Absolutely pathetic.
Don't care if it's an international break now. Means I don't have to watch this shit for another two weeks.

By Perfect Blue Go To PostDamn, so this means we’re still fourth?we are 4th together
Thank the lord no Alan Ruiz on the starting lineup today. We will definitely miss Doumbia, this would be a perfect game for him.
Big match starts in 45min, highly recommend it for the neutrals.

By Wengward Go To PostThis has to be Sturridge’s last season at Liverpool right?Hopefully
I'm done with him, Wijnaldum, Moreno, Lovren and Mignolet from the starting 11 alone. Sturridge can consider himself unfrtunate with the injuries, but at the end of the day he doesn't give us anything unless the other team are playing unbelievably open, which obviously barely ever happens against us. And even when we score to open the game up, we fucking throw that advantage away a couple of minutes later anyway.
Rested on our laurels having scraped fourth, and its left us with a lot of mediocrity in the team and squad. Compounded by us spending a bomb on a pile of shite who does nothing to improve the squad in the dying embers of the window.
Getting really sick of the way we fail to manage games after going ahead. You cannot give a team like Newcastle a goal in the first half, especially so soon after scoring one yourself.
Liverpool fans bemoan how often we have to be brilliant to win games. I'm certain this is due to the way we handle first halves, especially defensively.

By Hitch Go To PostHopefullyMoreno was quite good again today, he's probably Liverpool's best performing defender right now. Apart from preferring Robertson I have no idea why you'd want to take him out.

Apart from preferring Robertson I have no idea why you'd want to take him out. That is absolutely damning with faint praise though. Gomez is not an attacking fullback (maybe not even a fullback) and both of our centrebacks have been dreadful all season. Moreno is playing better than he has in the past, but I still don't think he's nearly good enough and should have been replaced in the summer.
By Shanks D Zoro Go To PostDzeko is in some form.Deflection culo tho.
Lovren is also broken, he's nowhere near 100% fit and shouldn't have to be playing this often. Gomez was culpable for a lot of our defensive problems today. Moreno was pretty good today.
We need to protect our leads better. We had one through Coutinho, and we just gave it away. How frustrating must it be for Mane, Coutinho Salah etc. that the team's attitude seems to constantly be "heh sorry dudes just be brilliant again, no problem u can do it :)"

I don't understand why Milner isn't put in at RB. Gomez and Trent need to have reliable defenders beside them so their occasional mistakes aren't damaging. Until the defence can at least settle a bit then they should be taken out of the firing line. Actually I'd even have Moreno or Robertson switch sides at the moment
Moreno is too left footed to play right back IMO, but I agree that Milner deserves to be starting games like this over Gomez and Trent.
Liverpool didn't really look dangerous enough in that second half. Probably quite tired after the midweek game but yeah it seemed relatively easy for Newcastle to defend.
Not sure how Newcastle plan to, or have been, scoring goals. Their forwards are dreadful.
