By Mastadon Go To PostJust fixed my boiler on my own with help from youtube and feeling very accomplished. My brother, who is a part-time carpenter, looked at my boiler being rested on a wooden plank and laughed.
Might go out and buy a drill or something.
Very excited for this.

Conte's hairline is definitely receding again. I've never really stopped to think about it, but being a manager on this level must take its toll both mentally and physically.
A lot of them obviously have years of experience to combat it - though I still don't understand just how they pull it off. I'd be a complete wreck 24/7.

By Meier Go To PostMadrid would die to get Kane to replace Benzema. Benzema is a non-entity in 2017. There are a million better options than him. But who's going to pay his wages and what Madrid would want? Mbappe is an entirely different player than Kane – comparing them directly is nonsensical. I'm a huge fan of his but I'm not going to say he's more talented than Kane because a.) he hasn't shown that he's as effective as an actual goal-scoring forward yet and b.) they're so far removed from being the same type of player that it is a pointless discussion.Top kek I'm amused you actually think this. Unlike you however, I am well learned in Madrid's machinations. Dying to get Kane yet the saga of last summer for us was m'bappe. Hmmm I wonder why?
Pls refrain from believing w/e English rags publish. They're not reliable. Madrid transfer policy has changed and for the better. We are currently only looking at under 23 talent only. Losers like lewandowski and Kane are not serious targets for us. We are rich but but not quite as rich compared to the wealth of the epl or PSG for that matter. Florentino understands this and moved swiftly to change our transfer policy. Unless the player is under 27 and is a world beater like CR7, mehssi, or nerman, we will adhere to our current policy as I understand it.
Besides, in terms of style, Kane doesn't fit at all here. And he is most certainly not a world beater like those whom I mentioned. And he's only gonna getting older. That's why m'bappe was a priority target even though we ultimately failed.
We got great stars in isco, asensio, Kroos thanks to this policy. Why fix what isn't broken? Even now Real madrid has scouts in both in Europe and in Brazil looking to unearth the next big CFs of tomorrow. And we're keeping tabs on Mariano. All according to the designs of Zidane , Jose Angel Sanchez, and Florentino.
And we already got a nice CF upcoming in Vinicius jr. who may have a bigger ceiling than Kane. we're in no rush for CFs. That and there's a rumor that nerman dad has a deal with us should things at psg go sour for nerman jr. Like I said, no rush at all.

I’m fucking crying.
Can we make this the new thread title?
Now ofc, variables can change many things. this still a long season ahead but as things currently stand... I don't see us changing our current policy.
When you were partying, I studied the Madrid. When you were having premarital sex, I mastered Marca. While you wasted your days at the gym in pursuit of vanity, I cultivated Whoscored stats. "Kane sucks, he hasn't done anything in Europe, but look at this 17 y/o Brazilian who hadn't play a single minute of professional football when we bought him. He definitely has a higher ceiling than a guy who is well on track to break scoring records in the EPL, even though he hasn't done anything yet."

Just looked up Kane's record again.
Since 2014/15 (where he had just turned 21):
2014/15: 31 goals in 51 games (21 in 34 in PL)
2015/16: 28 goals in 50 games (25 in 38 in PL)
2016/17: 35 goals in 38 games (29 in 30 in PL)
2017/18: 13 goals in 12 games (8 in 9 in PL)
So since he became a regular...
107 goals in 151 games (83 in 111 in PL).
86 PL goals; needs 174 to get Shearer.
The lad's doing it.

Kane is in better form than Benzema at the moment, no question as to who the better player is right now.
That being said, I much rather we keep Benzema in the system we have instead of bringing in Kane and getting him to play with Ronaldo. I would rather we go back for Mbappe once the Benzema/Ronaldo project is over. As it stands, the duo can still produce results given they're both in good form but for now they just need to find form again.
Benzema gets way too much hate, sure he has his moments where its a miss after another but he delivers most often times than not. If this wasn't the case he would have been gone long ago. It's ignorant to think Benzema isn't in the top 5-10 STs.

j e s u s. Peak Barney:
At the height of the cold war, the Soviet Union developed a deep institutional suspicion towards denim jeans. Jeans and jean‑related items were seen as an emblem of western‑style decadence, a symbol for the younger generation of intoxicatingly subversive belief in modernism, artistic freedom and comfortable riveted trousers.
There were heavy penalties for those caught up in the trade of blackmarket denim, what the police called “jeans crimes”. But this was a war the authorities always looked like losing. In 1975 prohibition was lifted. The ministry of light industry announced instead that it would start to produce its own approved communist denim, tailored from highest-quality clothing-cardboard and available in a range of superior citizen-fashion styles.
It didn’t work out. Soviet “dzhins” may have looked like the real thing. But close-up they lacked some vital element of danger and grace, of not falling to pieces in the rain or dyeing your legs blue. Dzhins were ultimately a failure, another front conceded in the ideological struggle, and proof once again that no matter how well-constructed the facsimile, in the end there is no substitute for the real thing.
All of which is a roundabout way of getting on to Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, an authentically talented English footballer whose mid-career doldrums – 24 and there’s so much more – get a bit more absorbing every week.

If Kane stays with Spurs like he's at least suggesting he will, I have no doubt he'll top Shearer eventually.
The thought of suggesting Vinicius Jr's ceiling might be higher on the strength of absolutely nothing but Madrid spending a wad of cash on him before he's done anything is incredible.

Your point is well taken but I have no doubt Ronaldo can do it for another 2-3 years, his body/mental strength is something else. He doesn't need to run as much if his positioning is within the box.
