By Gambit Go To PostI'm not sure I consider Carlo's matches as more promising but agree with the rest. The team is too slow for the 2013 system. We have two fast players: Coman and Kimmich. And they play about as far apart as you can.
Also, if he wants to play the 2013 system he needs a Schweini - Martinez combination and possibly Müller. Thiago-Martinez worked reasonably well but without Robbery on the wings there is no offensive creativity. What Bayern is missing the most is a new Ribery I would say.
Maybe Brandt would be an affordable (lesser) option for that role.
It's just the feeling that this team with these players is going nowhere anyways. Under Carlo I at least enjoyed the ups and downs of seeing Tolisso, Süle, Rudy, James play.
By Auto Simeone Go To PostI prefer him over doicare. We need at least one "personality"No

By fuenf Go To PostI cant say that I like what I'm seeing from Bayern. Sure, they are playing a little bit more solid than under Carlo but totally uninspired. This team is simply flawed, apart from keeping the ship from sinking I dont know what the coaching staff is actually trying to do… the 2013-like system they are trying to play doesnt fit the aging and slow players. Carlo tried to have them play like a top team in Europe and the players failed in the end, but the matches were at least enjoyable and somehow in some werid kind of way more promising.Of course Robben and Ribéry are not on the same level as 4 years ago. But Coman and James are better than Shaqiri and whoever we had to replace Robben (Rafinha?). Vidal-Tolisso-Thiago-Javi-Rudy are very solid midfielders to have, probably can compensate for Schweinsteiger and Kroos not being here.
Robben can still play at top level, but he needs to rest between matches. Can't play him on every match we have like he used to.
Kimmich is an improvement over last few years Lahm. And Lewa is much better than Mandzukic (as much as I love him). He just needs to get back on form.
Winter break will be great for us.

The feeling is Hoeneß/Kalle missed rejuvenating the squad in the summer. If you are gonna buy Tolisso (and have Sanches) then you need to get rid of Vidal. They just didn't buy players for the positions we needed (Süle and Rudy excluded).
Draxler was offered to them and would definitely have helped. More speed for the non-Coman wing.

The winter break will definitely help. The team seems to have more depth, yes, but the first eleven is much worse. At least at this fitness and tactical level.

well I'm just a bitter old man (still younger than Robbery tho). I'll most likely never get over missing out on Sané (and selling KROOS). You are right elsk, this Bayern isnt that bad compared to other Bayern teams but I feel like football has evolved. It's becoming increasingly more athletic and it just sucks that Bayern are left behind.

By batong Go To Postit's a beauty watching Keita play footy on a cold Wednesday night. Not anymore you won’t.
By flinbad the flailer Go To PostWhat the fuck is Hamsik doing? He's been quite poor this season….He's pulling a reverse Hamsik. He'll be amazing in the second half of the season for a change, when it counts.
Though I don't think Napoli will even need him at his best, if we continue conceding retarded goals like this.
By batong Go To PostThe time he was on the pitch that isSoft yellow considering Tolisso still doesn't have one. Well whatever. Rangnick can get fucked.
Drinkwater has actually been having a really good game as it’s gone on. Liking the look of him in this team and looking forward to seeing him link up with Kante. Would a midfield three of Kante, Danny D, and Bakayoko be too defensive? Could see that working in big games.

I'll eat a goddamned nerazzurro shirt if they win the league.
By Perfect Blue Go To PostWhoops, typo. Thanks for noticing. Meant to say defensive.yeah, even so I think it can work.
Kante is pretty good at bringing the ball forward. Drinkwater is ok as well.
You'll bully teams a lot, they wont be able to get in rhythm.

By flinbad the flailer Go To PostThis is Spalletti's year, isn't it?I very much doubt it. They're playing better than they were at the start of the season, but they never quite manage to dominate a match. I'll be very surprised if they don't start dropping points towards the second half of November / December.

I haven't seen that shirt in so many years. It's probably more dust and fungus than artificial fiber by this point.
