By recon_zero Go To PostI am sending a few PMs in gaf so they come here.my pm inbox limit was set to 0 so I can't send or receive any. People in the NFL thread saying anyone who mentions other forums or discord are being stopped. truly pathetic.
Having some tactical aware players come through would be absolutely amazing, especially when pretty much all the current ones are thick as pigshit.
Don't like the fact that Dortmund recalled Sancho btw
Once you've let him go, its a bit twattish to pressure him into coming back. Get your affairs and plans in order beforehand so he's not getting called back a game into the tournament.

Kermit? Lol. Do you know Patrick Holley of the Sydney Blues? He was familiar with the Pig and Whistle when I asked him.
This fella practically lives in the US and Manchester.. being Australian is a glamorous life. Good guy, was here in town again this past week for the F1.

Torino's manager Sinisa Mihajlovic admitted to not knowing who Anne Frank is :lol
this is truly the dankest timeline

By Cleff Go To PostReckon he's gone. He's barely getting a game and Mourinho clearly doesn't trust him. We'll get Rose, sell Shaw to Spurs and Poch will turn him into the best full back in the league.
adios then. shame about the leg break but even before that he never seemed up for it.
By Hitch Go To PostYeah the youth teams are smashing it at the moment
Hopefully its due to a lot of good individual talents coming through, and if not, then a lot of tactically astute players. If we're just stronger and faster than everyone else, it doesn't mean much.
Based on the match I just watched, I'd say its largely tactical awareness, with Foden being the only one who really stood out for his ability on the ball. Brewster seems to have a great knack for getting into the right positions around the 6 yard box, but if that's all it is he'll end up being an Iheanacho instead of a Rashford.
I have been impressed with the games that I have seen. If they can develop as technically gifted players, then the future is bright.
I think the most successful teams of the last couple of decades have been the nations that have seen their players grow and make the jump up together from the earliest youth teams all the way to the full NT.
Obviously, a lot more is required. But growing and winning together is a big part of it.
By Kermit Go To PostWhat’s the good word for Slaent?
I just posted on Twitter. Someone verify so I can delete it and not look like a turnip to all 123 of my followers.
Welcome, who do you support?
By Shanks D Zoro Go To PostSaying 'Totti sucks' isn't enough on its own.now that's just being a poor sport. and italy actually has a chance of losing vs sweden?
However, all laughing at Italy when we get knocked out against Sweden is.
By TurokTTZ Go To Postnow that's just being a poor sport. and italy actually has a chance of losing vs sweden?
A year ago, i would have said no.
Now
By pulga Go To Postthe world cup will truly be the poorer if italy and honduras dont make it in
isn't honduras a monument in spain
By bud Go To Postisn't honduras a monument in spainbud do not be racist to willy palacios' nation
By Hitch Go To PostDon't like the fact that Dortmund recalled Sancho btwCalled back? Get your shit right Hitch. The FA and Dortmund had that agreement from the start that he would only play the group stages.

By Hitch Go To PostIsn't Mihajlovic an absolute lunatic? He is.
But as bad as he is he'd still have enough common sense to let Milinkovic-Savic into the NT.
By Pennywise Go To PostCalled back? Get your shit right Hitch. The FA and Dortmund had that agreement from the start that he would only play the group stages.Really? If that agreement was there from the start, England should have taken someone else imo.
By Hitch Go To PostReally? If that agreement was there from the start, England should have taken someone else imo.Yeah. Initially we didn't even wanted him to leave, but it was a good option to get some field minutes for him and after the group stages fitted right into the time of us needing him. That's why he played on the weekend.

By flinbad the flailer Go To PostWow, truly revenge for not getting Koulibaly lol.
I like Star Trek Discovery but what’s with everything on Netflix being so damn gory
Like how about leaving just a little to the imagination? I’m not squeamish I’m just bored with gore being such a prominent mechanism for storytelling
Every show it’s another “oh, Netflix gore again, guess I can’t watch this with my family”

By Shanks D Zoro Go To PostA year ago, i would have said no....has there been a development in italy that I have missed? What are your concerns? Attack, midfield, defense? What happened to Belotti? If there were any real concerns it be midfield. in which I would agree it is lacking.
Now
By Perfect Blue Go To PostWow, truly revenge for not getting Koulibaly lol. It'd basically be a loan anyways: he'd get his league title, your cunt squad would squeeze him out in the midst of the very next season, and he'd be back to his hometown.
By TurokTTZ Go To PostWhat happened to Belotti? If there were any real concerns it be midfield. in which I would agree it is lacking.Because Ventura is too monumentally stupid to call up Jorginho.
Belotti, by the way, is injured.
By Oddinho Go To PostI like Star Trek Discovery but what’s with everything on Netflix being so damn goryI hope it eventually comes to Netflix in the US. No fuckin way I'm paying CBS some monthly fee for one show that I'm only moderately interested in since Bryan Fuller was involved with it at one point.

Isn't that the way 'high end' TV has been the past decade?
I was really surprised when they dropped the F bomb, surely the first time on ST.

Hello Frank!
By TurokTTZ Go To Post…has there been a development in italy that I have missed? What are your concerns? Attack, midfield, defense? What happened to Belotti? If there were any real concerns it be midfield. in which I would agree it is lacking.Ventura isn't getting Italy to play to their strengths. Basically it's like this, Italy have the better players, Sweden has the better team with a lot of grinta. I think Italy will go to the WC, but it won't be easy at all since nothing is working at the moment. It's a little bit like Milan right now. Good players with a coach that doesn't know how to handle them.

Ventura really loves 4-2-4, but he just isn't a conte type who can drill what is expected of the players in such a short time. Bonucci has looked poor the last few times, the best midfielders are injured, Insigne is never being played in the correct position, and Belotti is gonna be dead until December.
I don't care about any of that though, when the best passer in Serie A is left out. Jorginho needs to be included. It is a disgrace.
By flinbad the flailer Go To PostBecause Venture is too monumentally stupid to call up Jorginho.I still can't believe this. Not even Conte called Jorginho up and you would think at least one of Conte and Ventura would call the guy up.
By rossonero Go To PostI still can't believe this. Not even Conte called Jorginho up and you would think at least one of Conte and Ventura would call the guy up.
Conte gave him his debut, but then excluded him from the Euro squad. Just crazy.

Oh, I had no idea it wasn’t available in the US on Netflix. That’s odd, I thought it was even a Netflix Original.

Asmir Begović calling out Liverpool's defence:
"They are not doing the basics of defending and I don't think they have the pride it takes to be a defender," Begovic said on Sky Sports' The Debate show.
"It is a combination of things - communication, positioning and the desire to defend is lacking for Liverpool. They don't look organised, they don't look like they want to defend.
"I look at some of their players and the first thing is how good they can be on the ball, how they can pass and go forward and how the full backs can attack and join in. I don't think their first thought is defending."
Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren was replaced on 31 minutes against Tottenham after his error led to the London side's second goal and Begovic felt the team's bad decision-making could be due to lack of confidence.
"I think as a unit they look all over the place and there could be many reasons," Begovic said.
"Confidence is low and there are people making bad decisions so it seems to be a bit of a mess."
"I don't think it's one thing, I think it's them as a unit. I don't think they're working together and there's a lack of continuity with the centre-back pairings and the full-backs, I don't think changing the goalkeepers is helping."
By domino Go To Postadios then. shame about the leg break but even before that he never seemed up for it.Up until the leg break he looked good.
By rossonero Go To PostFor real? That's even more stupid….
yeah, was only a bit at the end of a friendly, so he can still switch back to Brazil.
By Oddinho Go To PostOh, I had no idea it wasn’t available in the US on Netflix. That’s odd, I thought it was even a Netflix Original. It isn't. It's on CBS's streaming service in the US, Netflix just bought the International rights.
By Shanks D Zoro Go To PostIsn't that the way 'high end' TV has been the past decade?

Being “prestige TV” comes with the benefit of freedom when it comes to mature content but it shouldn’t be treated as a hard requirement.
By Francis Go To PostAsmir Begović calling out Liverpool's defence:
Thats basically the same thing Liverpool fans are saying: our defenders don’t look like they like to defend. In the Anfield Wrap this week they had like 15 minutes just talking about how much we’re missing someone like Carragher, who loves being a defender.
Though I don’t think changing goalkeepers hurts the situation, that’s just him defending his colleague. I think Mignolet is a big part of the problem with the poor organization and communication. No one trusts him and he’s too damn quiet.
By Oddinho Go To PostOh, I had no idea it wasn’t available in the US on Netflix. That’s odd, I thought it was even a Netflix Original.Nope, they're not involved in the production at all. CBS has a pay service now in the US and this is the first show developed for it. This is like American Gods.. other countries get it through Amazon Prime if I recall but we had to sub to Starz to get it here. Annoying.
By Hitch Go To PostIsn't Mihajlovic an absolute lunatic?I wouldn't say lunatic, but he's pretty out there. He's like the reverse Splatt.
been out of the loop on Serie A. thanks for all the replies. I can see why the confidence in Italy is at a low.
So ISIS has threatened attacks on the 2018 World Cup held in Putin's Lair.... Yeah... Good luck with that.
Surely the KGB/FSS and the GRU got a lock on the World Cup?
