At least the game had some positives, unlike the City match where there was just nothing once Mane went off. Gomez looked very solid at CB and provides an excellent reason to never play Lovren again. And I was pleased to see Klopp take quick action to remove Lovren early in the first half given how poor his subs usually are. Moreno looked good again and I think at this point has genuinely turned it around. Also hopefully that Mig performance is enough to finally banish him and play Karius or Ward.
All this will be pointless when Lovren and Mig are first names on the teamsheet next week of course
