Which we have been doing in every game prior to this one.

By hixx Go To Post3-1 up at half time and we draw 3-3. They were very lucky with their goals (freekick was just never a freekick and the equalizer was a huge deflection) but still… not being able to see out a game with a 2 goal half time advantage against a very average team in this league…. fuck Grayson.
And then i see posts like this and realise it could be worse ;_;

m8 we haven't lose in October yet, you have. get rekt.
By WJD Go To PostJust City I think. Nothing is stopping them.
People said the same thing last season when they won the first 10 in a row. A team with Stones and Otamendi in the XI is going to stumble sooner or later.
By sohois Go To PostFirst of all, 'crippled' is your own interpretation, one which others may not agree with. However, even if they do agree, that does not mean they must assume that this will cause a loss of points. You seem to consider a dissenting opinion to be moronic. In addition, I should note that the replies you get are a result of your post history and not a direct response to the content. If you had an entirely new account and posted your opinion, I'm sure other posters would cast doubt on your ideas but they would not just dismiss them instantly, because it wouldn't be assumed that you would argue in bad faith. At the moment, if a person disagrees with your opinion, you immediately shift to demanding some kind of proof, presumably of a mathematical variety, which is both ridiculous from the perspective of the statistics available to football, and entirely out of sorts with the common standard of discussion in this thread. The double standards here are hilarious. Constantly every game when United lose or play badly several posters will post about how 'shit' United are and ignore every other factor. When there are injuries which are facts and i give my opinion which is that they are costing United points people can't handle what i say because it doesn't fit their narrative. So people are free to say United are shit and ignore everything else, that's fine no 'proof' required but when i post detailing all the bad injuries and my opinion that they have affected the game i must some how back up what i say. So funny.
Are you familiar with the phrase "do to others as you would have them do unto you"? Because at the moment that is exactly what is happening. You treat other opinions dismissively and the posters as fools and idiots. Thus it should be no surprise that other posters see your opinions as worthless and you as a fool or idiot.
Props to Huddersfield, they played well, threw bodies on the line and exploited our gaffs.
Mou's Boys need to have a think about the lack of urgency and decision-making in the final third.

By inky Go To PostThere will be no title race. Fraudiola will run away with it by December. They were in a better position this time last year too, but I agree it appears that it's their title to lose at this point. They have too much firepower and the rest of us are far to inconsistent and injured to keep up at this point.
I could probably go on a 1000 word tirade about Mkhi. Just so many questions about how the fuck is he so mediocre.
Mata hasn't been the same since the hernia operation, which is disappointing and sad.

Chelsea were the one who went on a 13 win run and won it on the back of that.
And also for all the people saying how 'great' Huddersfield were and how 'bad' United were, match stats:
Possession - United 78% Huddersfield 22%
Shots - United 9 Huddersfield 5

By NinjaFridge Go To PostWe badly need a creative player to step up when Pogba is out.Mata and Mkhi. It's something that both couldnt.
Shit result; was bound to happen sometime.
The trouble is we always seem to have 3-4 players having an off day when we aren't playing well and no one in the team seems to be a natural leader to kick them up the arse or lead from the front. Too many are wildly inconsistent, Mkhi, I'm looking at you. Penny my dear you did warn us.
Hopefully the next 2 or 3 players in means 2 or 3 go out the door. Improve the quality over time. Can't be angry at the progress we have made over the last 14 months. Can't wait to see what we do in the market in the summer. Should be fun; I may even wear a yellow tie on deadline day. That's a joke. That's a joke lads.
Right, time to get the booze out and fire up FM.

People aren't being serious when they post LOOOOOL or talk about relegation for some team that loses. Do you think that Scum is serious when he predicts Tottenham to lose every match?
No one has any problem 'handling' someone defending their team or talking shit about some other team. You seem to have an issue with anyone not thinking exactly as you do, and as soon as that happens you leap to asking for statistical proof of their opinions. Yes people are free to say United are shit and ignore everything else, but for United fans that disagree everyone apart from you has no problem in ignoring such posts.

Possession is the most useless stat in football. No wonder only the most absolutely ignorant and stupid people still use it as a measure of quality.

By Pele.gif Go To PostOxzil is the player you need right nowactually it could work. It's not like we are having problems getting the ball to the final third. It's the key passes in that area that we are currently shit on.

By n8 dogg Go To PostNot seeing death of stalin now because my gf cant find her limitless card. What a shit day.I've jumped around on crutches the whole day, man up
There was no urgency in our play even at 2-0 down.
Players taking too many touches and trying the same thing again and again.
Rashford did well in the middle when he came on.
Need to get somebody like Ozil in Jan if possible, would be able to help unlock teams that sit back.
Matic - Herrera is a pointless midfield duo when you have control of the game. Need to get somebody else alongside Matic, somebody who offers much more going forward

that isnt a real problem
you are just an old man whose time is over
78% possession but only 8 shots on goal is very, very poor. You should be getting in the upper teens for shots if you've that much possession. Suggests problems with tactics and players

That's a double standard.I don't know if you've noticed, but these days the majority of posters just avoid responding to you altogether, because they know you won't talk in good faith. It's all very well defending your team and being optimistic about their quality, but compare your own responses to the likes of Meier for City, Odd or myself for Liverpool, Usho for Tottenham. None of these posters get excessively wound up by negative opinions. They do not have swathes of the forum ignoring them. They do not have people constantly shit talking them.
I honestly believe that no one would have an issue with your arguments if you didn't insist that people agree with you. Are you Robert Aumann? Because in real life, people can agree to disagree

By Bold 2 in One Go To Postwe don't need his grinta, just his cutting pass/cross in the final thirdWe do need grinta. Ozil would have been absolutely useless in today's game. It's like no one has ever seen him play for Arsenal under pressure all of a sudden.
He would've been invisible and spineless like everyone else in our team.

If we had composure in the box and a bit of intelligence, we could have unlocked the Huddersfield defence. Instead, we had poor decision after poor decision.

If Lingard had all the grinta in the world, would you rather still not have Ozil?
By Scum Go To PostHitch, pls. Bring me Brewster. #hattrick #u17sHe's very highly regarded on rawk, but I personally don't get excited about youth strikers any more
Need to watch him myself, since we've had a few where I've only seen their goalscoring records and expected them to be decent, then they've ended up playing non-league
Absolutely delighted for Rafa. Taken a big step down in expectations at the club he's managing, but he needed to and is doing a bloody good job. Hope he's not a casualty of the regime change.
Hello footy-slaent. My name is bone_and_sinew.
I support Barcelona Sporting Club (my hometown team) and FC Barcelona (the team that made me fall in love with the sport in the early 90s).
I already know some of you (hi mush! hi dudebro!)
I invented the you got Juved meme.
Anyway now that that's out the way. Sevilla are about to get their pussies fucked at Mestalla
Major lol at ManU losing to Huddersfield Town. Anything that brings Mourinho misery nourishes me.

If Lingard had all the grinta in the world, would you rather still not have Ozil?
Didn't say we only needed grinta, but Ozil doesn't have it. He's not a leader at Arsenal and wouldn't be here, "world class" quality or not. I'm not against getting him, especially at the end of his contract which seems like a low risk situation, but he wouldn't have changed this outcome. Almost every player was poor.
