By Zabojnik Go To PostI refuse to believe that people are genuinely excited for the SNES Mini.Only SNES games I ever played was the GOAT Yoshi's Island and Super Mario World. Would've loved a SNES mini but all sold out. Hope they have more stock on the way.
All SmartTVs should include Super Mario World (or a SNES store). My favorite game of all time and so enjoyable to play at any time to relax and pass the time
By DerZuhälter Go To PostSo what are expectations for Klopp?
Just a CL placement? CL quarterfinals?
I think the "expectation" for Klopp is improving the team. And he's failing. They aren't improving. They are stagnant as fuck and suffer still at the same ends against the same type of opponents. He's holding on to too many players who should have been pushed out of the club a long time ago.
His initial idea was working with the team he has and improving it. Well that's it apparently. The max he gets out of em.
We are improving though, significantly so. It's not just a matter of looking at points and saying "Rodgers did better because 13/14". Rodgers wouldn't have placed 4th with the team we had last year.
Off the back of another disappointing result it's easy to forget that with our last manager and largely the same team, we were losing in worse fashions to worse teams, more often. I'm not happy with the performance and I'm frustrated watching the defense shit the bed so often but the idea of firing Klopp is a non-starter. We aren't stagnating, we took a huge step backward when we lost Suarez, Sterling and Gerrard and our climb back up has been slow but steady.
At the Marítimo x Benfica match
Everything ended up the same in the league today, we drew 0-0 with Porto and Benfica 1-1 with Marítimo.
Not a great match for us today, Rui Patrício and Mathieu were the best on the field. The lack of Doumbia and the effort we made on Wednesday clearly had an effect on the game.
Porto were all over us on the first half, we had the edge on the second half but didn't do much to trouble Casillas.

Not much, just that players and other club employees were complaining about his shit trainings when he was at Real, PSG and now Bayern.

On the positive side my Liverbros, Coutinho has had an impressive return. Really didn't take long at all to get kicking at his normal level, three goals in three games in a row already. He can easily meet his goal count last season, which ended at I think 15?
I expect he'll leave next summer but I'm glad that he's making his last year with us a good one.

"Also last week from Russia’s FA: a two-game ban for Ararat Moscow coach Aleksandr Grigoryan for an “offensive finger gesture” aimed at Torpedo fans who called his players “black faggots”. Torpedo chairman Aleksandr Tukmanov said Grigoryan showed “open disrespect to our fans” with “conduct unbecoming of a coach, or indeed of any person. And all this on the eve of a World Cup. He paints our country in a bad light.”
Agreed. Totally uncalled for. /s

I'm resigned to him leaving, must be extremely rare for a player to publically try an exit and then stay for more than one season, but he hasn't missed a beat
Just a shame his return has coincided with the rest of the team suffering a crisis of confidence
We simultaneously look like a team who should have sold him and reinforced, and a team who wouldn't function at all without him
While he wasn't as involved as I'd have liked against Newcastle, his record in that AM position is pretty great. Might be a goal every other game at this point. Wonder if we'll trust Lallana to play deeper in cm, something has to change back there
Coutinho has been good, yeah.
Agree with Hitch. Liverpool looks like a team that could either beat you 5-0, or have a game with absolutely shit finishing.

Gerrard with Chelsea but that was a unique case. Hopefully we can replace him with Lemar or another of his quality next year. If not, we'll be facing another hard battle for 4th in 2019.
I dunno what we need. We haven't been that bad thus far. Not satisfactory results but we're still dominating games and creating loads of chances, which counts for something. And we've had some real bullshit go against us, like offside goals and unpunished fouls in the box. Not an excuse mind you but it doesn't make it easier when your match officials are so inconsistent and it seems you're always on the wrong end of that inconsistency.
Think they should just continue what they're doing and things will click. The only thing I'd like to see changed right away is for the midfielders to not go in kamikaze challenges that open us up to 1 on 1s all the time.

If Klopp is putting on an act, its the most exhausting method acting of all time
He's been deep-diving into the same character for 17 years

Hearing the gun fire in that video is so unsettling. Just hope there are not too many fatalities.

I've also seen Klopp be a dick plenty of times too. He just walked out of a press conference last week.
Most press people I've heard say he's a very what's you see is what you get type of person.

He didn't. He's basically an Italian Harry Redknapp in terms of coaching style. Arm round the shoulder and let them get on with it.
Some bloke they interviewed on the news said he ran to help people instead of running away) a bit suspect) and then when they asked him how many people were there still injured or helping the injured he said everyone the other side of police line were dead

Klopp seems like a man that gets angry after a loss.
Which is to say, almost everyone. It looks worse on him because the papers report about it every single time it happens.

By batong Go To Postthat good? I'm not a trekkie by any stretch but you think I would enjoy it?
It is pretty dark so far, which I always enjoy.
Seems the show is gonna be about a war and the efforts of the ship to help win that war.
If BSG is considered the high end for TV science-fi then I don't know if it will reach that level, but it has been easier to get into.
First three episodes are up on Netflix. First two act as a prologue and today's episode acts as the start of the main show.
By Mushroom Go To PostI've heard multiple people on podcasts imply that he does it for show and is different behind the scenes. I personally like the guy.I rather think the media is painting a certain picture of Klopp being the super nice and friendly guy. Which he is to some extent but obviously not only. We've all also seen his not so friendly side during games, after losses or when journalists suck at their job. He can also be hard to players that don't perform as they should or are getting too old. But there's nothing wrong with any of that, otherwise he wouldn't be such a good coach. It's just some people only see the friendly, funny guy and then wonder what's happening when he's not in his best mood while on a winning streak.
Shame https://twitter.com/SwissRamble has done an article on Arsenal, but there are a dozen tweets.
Revenue is up 10%, but still 160 million less than United, and will be overtaken by Liverpool and Chelsea when they announce their records.
Our wages to turnover has dropped to under 50%
Cash balance has fallen 48 million in the last two years, which for me is a good sign. Shows that Kronke isn't just hoarding money.

Koeman is turning into (the dark side of) José, judging by his behaviour on MOTD 2.
Tarkowski looked fantastic yet again. Burnley will have to fight hard to keep hold.

United's financial position is somewhat ridiculous. £300m cash balance which is equal to Liverpool's entire annual revenue last time around. Cut the damn cheque Woody.
