Elway really wasted an amazing defense by not getting a solid QB
By WesternHeretic Go To PostIs this the new hotspot?Lol, yea it seems so. Give yourself an avatar while you settle in. Hawks played a typically Seahawk like game tonight. Great defense. Garbage 1st half offense. Jimmy Graham dropping easy passes, someone getting into it on the sidelines, then 2nd half big plays to win the game.

1st place in the AFC Norf could probably be achieved at 8-8. My Stillerz just need 3 more wins and then they can rest till the playoffs.

Man Julio bodied Butler
Sure it was his first TD and he had to snatch it away and it's because of the fog that made Ryan think Julio was Hooper instead of Julio and that's the only reason he threw there but still!

Donks get shutout by LAC. Last time that happened was against us... when we were in LA.

https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/report-jerry-jones-was-only-voice-of-opposition-at-anthem-meetings/ar-AAtREVA?li=BBmkt5R
NFL executives and owners met with players on Tuesday to discuss the issues surrounding national anthem protests, and most of the reports we have heard about the dialogue were positive. However, Jerry Jones has apparently not softened his stance on the subject.
According to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports, Jones was “quite vocal” in expressing his opposition to anthem protests during the meeting. In fact, he was the only owner who went against a lot of the things the players were saying about the demonstrations.
Jones was the only owner to rail against the handful of players who are still regularly kneeling, standing or staying in the locker room during the playing of the anthem, the sources said, pronouncing his disagreement with how the NFL is policing the matter before all 32 teams. On Tuesday, when a select group of owners and league officials met with players and NFLPA leadership, there were no dissenting voices or debate about how the ongoing protests were being handled. But that changed on the second day of the meetings, with Jones expressing his feelings several times in what sources describe as a “firm and forceful” manner, but restrained and not over the top.
More specifically, Jones expressed a desire to have the NFL’s game-day manual changed to outline potential punishments for players who do not stand during “The Star-Spangled Banner.” There were reportedly no other owners who supported his stance.
Most of what we have heard about the meeting indicates the discussions were positive, so it doesn’t sound like Jones created any kind of divide or created a tense environment. Given the public stance he has taken against anthem protests, it is no surprise Jones was the lone voice of opposition.

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports Martavis Bryant skipped mandatory team meetings on Monday.chuckd, harson, jakncoke... get off the Discord and come get your man,
This is escalating quickly. One of Bryant's teammates told beat writer Ed Bouchette the oft-suspended receiver "called in sick." Coming off a two-touch game, Bryant trashed JuJu Smith-Schuster, as well as the team, on Instagram. Bryant wants a trade, but unless the Steelers are desperate to get him out of the locker room, it's unclear what their motivation would be to deal him. Right now he provides proven play-making depth. Either way, a suspension could be coming.
The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports the Steelers have "no plans" to trade or suspend Martavis Bryant.
A frustrated Bryant has made social media waves each of the past two weeks, and blew off mandatory team meetings on Monday, supposedly for a doctor's appointment. It's still unsurprising the Steelers aren't interested in trading a 6-foot-4 touchdown scorer, even if he's not a major part of the offense right now. They have eight days to change their mind. It seems unlikely that they will. For fantasy purposes, Bryant is little more than a last man on the bench in 12-team leagues.

Hello good friends. I take it this is where we all sit back and get handsomely intoxicated while watching our teams flail about in an injury riddled season, grasping at final desperate acts to keep from completely falling apart?
Or in the case of Browns and 49ers fans, are already in the throes of alcohol poisoning?

NFL suspended Vikings FS Andrew Sendejo one game for violating the league's player safety rules.Video of Hit
Sendejo illegally hit Mike Wallace on Sunday, giving him a concussion. Sendejo was previously fined earlier this season for a big hit on Cameron Brate, so the suspension is next in line after a fine. Sendejo will probably appeal. For now, he's out for Week 8 in London against Cleveland. The Vikings then have a Week 9 bye before coming back stateside for a road date in Washington.
Amazing that wasn't called helmet to helmet.
Reporting in for duty. I was banned on GAF many moons ago and I miss my NFL gaf. Feels good to be back.

To all Giants fans here, when the culmination of our glorious tank comes next April, should we go for Josh Rosen, Saquon Barkely, or a new LT (this draft has quite a few linemen coming out though).
Also ideas for a new head coach once we fire McAdoo? My top choices right now are Dave Toub and Matt Patricia.

I've been fooled before. Someone else tell me that Wentz is legit. He's been a monster this year. The analytics are on his side. I wanna believe.
By ComradeCreeper Go To PostI've been fooled before. Someone else tell me that Wentz is legit. He's been a monster this year. The analytics are on his side. I wanna believe.Yes he's legit and I hate it. The Browns deserve to suffer for passing on him and letting him fall into the NFC East. He not only has terrific passing and leadership abilities, he can't be tackled. Ever.
But while I think the Eagles will win the NFC East and make the playoffs, this is not the year for the Eagles. A team like the Saints matches up perfectly with them. Teams like the Seahawks and Rams, despite their offensive faults, could also beat them, particularly through exploiting their weak secondary. And the Vikings right now might be the best team in the NFC despite their injuries. Their upgraded o-line allows them to withstand the Eagles' d-line unlike last year.
Hello [insert NFL fan's name here] are you ready to accept the Saints and Drew Brees into your heart as the true masters of the NFC South if not I have a pamphlet and one of the many many products he endorses.
Oh hey. 6-1 beyotches
Fully expecting a 10 loss meltdown. Was expecting no better than 3-4 at this point tbh so I’m just gonna ride this wave till it crashes.
