beckham probably gawn for the season
just really tiresome seeing so many teams devoid of their top talent, consistently, ever year, it's why I've stopped watching

Ben throwing five picks in a loss.
Giants starting Waterboys at wideout.
Pence cunting it up to the tune of $500k on the public's dime.
What a day.

So Chiefs are legit as fuck. Alex Smith doing good. I still love you Alex.
No joke. Does it seem like there have been a lot more injuries this year?
By LionPride Go To PostMy Lions lost
Titans have yet to sign Kaep
And ODB broke his ankle
Damn

It's usually thanksgiving for me. That's when I notice a lot of backups playing.

The Giants lost to the Chargers to fall to 0-5, but the more amazing thing is they lost the Starting #1, #2, #3, and #4 WRs, their starting RB, and a DE to injury IN ONE HALF.
Odell Beckham Jr. - "Broken ankle", OUT FOR YEAR
Brandon Marshall - Sprained Ankle
Sterling Sheperd - Sprained Ankle
Dwyane Harris - Broken foot OUT FOR YEAR
They literally had 1 WR left... they had to use TEs as WRs yesterday.

Giants WR/KR Dwayne Harris is out for the season with a fractured foot.
Harris suffered the injury on Sunday against the Chargers, the same game the Giants lost Odell Beckham (broken ankle, likely out for the season), Brandon Marshall (sprained ankle, week to week), and Sterling Shepard (sprained ankle, week to week).

By RobNBanks Go To PostIdk why Giants fans care. Wasn’t Eli your leading rusher? You guys were fucked from the start... no. And not caring about a phenomenon so rare is odd., that's like saying you don't care if the Knicks had 4/5th of their starting line get hurt in one quarter because Michael Beasley is the best shooter.
The injury rate in the NFL is 100%.
This is something that players always say.
Injury types are up for debate.
Now this year, it just might be that a bunch of high-profile players are getting hurt.
I'm secretly hoping that the QB position becomes so dire that the NFL will have to dust off like, JeMarcus Russell to continue blackballing Kaep.

Actually meant to update this... the QBs that Kaep got passed over for haven't played that well to date. Even though there was a legit reason to sign Cutler over Kaep, wanted to note he's played like shit and people are clamoring for Matt Moore.
It's as if players are constantly getting bigger, stronger, and faster and the human body just isn't up for a sport as brutal as football.
Special teams and a blown touchdown in the opening drive cost us. Should be 4-1 with a clear stranglehold on the division.
Gonna take a wild guess and say it's Cowboys Titans Panthers Lions Skins Pats and Colts
The first 3 I have no doubt on
It's getting to the point now where if I don't see a strike soon I'm done with the sport. This is so cancerous it's ridiculous.
Like...really? You're going to let these higher-ups intimidate your majority black league into submission while you're ALREADY getting fucked over daily with non-guaranteed contracts in an increasingly dangerous sport where research is determining a good chunk of yall will develop debilitating injury as a result of playing?
Bruh don't kneel for the flag, just be a good boy and get knocked unconscious for me so I can enjoy my Sundays.
This is a tremendous opportunity for these guys to grow some balls and strike.

I dont religiously follow the NFL but have been following this and I really hope this sport get boycotted and dies eventually.
Separate question, does anyone know the difference between the CTE say caused by NFL in comparison to something like boxing and is hyporcritical to not like NFL because of potential CTE but love boxing?
I'm not even sure this is the place for this discussion but I didnt think it was hypocritical as the first rule of boxing is to hit your opponent without being hit.
By GQman2121 Go To PostIt's over. Kaep is the example that no one is going to be willing to repeat.
Yep.
Football is a joke and has been. I haven’t watched the last two or three seasons
Kinda disgusted that this is what it takes for people to stop watching. Racist team name, domestic abusers and sexual assaulters is fine. Blackballing the face of kneeling was also perfectly fine.
Telling some uncle toms they have to stand even though they’ve been doing that from the start is what gets you to boycott tho

A reason why some people champion MMA is because they will call fights quicker than boxing and that the lack of padded gloves results in fewer blows to the head.
Still bad for your brain, though.

Civil Rights didn't happen in the teens and the twenties. In fact that's when Jim crow shit was passed and we saw the rise of the KKK.
The Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals has vacated Ezekiel Elliott's temporary injunction, thereby reinstating his suspension, though Elliott is expected to immediately file a new appeal.http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/21003461/court-clears-way-nfl-6-game-suspension-cowboys-ezekiel-elliott
In the words of the Dallas Morning News' Katie Hairopoulos, the NFL "wins this round," but Elliott will seek a new injunction from the Southern District of New York. It's unclear what his odds are of getting it. At least for now, Elliott's six-game suspension is free to take hold, but things could be different by this time next week. The Cowboys are on bye for Week 6. In a league prone to opaque legal sagas, Elliott's is setting a new standard
There's no legitimate reason for the Packers to not check in with Kaep's people about his availability.
Using the collective bargaining agreement, Colin Kaepernick has filed a collusion grievance against the NFL.I'm trying to get sources from the Mike Florio report on NBA right now, but he said the final straw was after Marcus Mariota got injured the Titans asked a bunch of QBs to work out. Kaepernick (I THINK) asked to attend it to also try out and the Titans rebuffed his request. Again, trying to confirm those details now.
Kaepernick is pursuing his claim with his own legal team, but will have the assistance of the NFLPA. Profootballtalk reports Kap isn't just hoping to prove collusion in his case, but "trigger termination of the current Collective Bargaining Agreement" under a clause in the CBA (Article 69, Section 2). It's not debatable that teams have passed on Kaepernick for far worse players. The question is whether he can prove it was deliberate collusion on behalf of the owners.
By Kibner Go To PostI hope this fucks the NFL so hard.Oh there was obvious collusion, and proving it depends on which definition they use. If he has to prove more than 1 owner did it, he's got this. If it's a every team thing, he needs a paper trail.
