It's not the hit, it's the taunting that did Schuster in.

I'm pretty sure Jones was behind the play so there's no "peel back". Also Jones isn't moving towards his own end zone, he's lateral to the line of scrimmage and actually moves away from it technically.
Also, If the near shoulder of the blocker contacts the front of his opponent’s body, the “peel back” block is legal. There's 2 or 3 main criteria they look for in determining it, but remember they just made major changes to that rule last offseason. Refs aren't going to be perfect calling that.

Browns fired EVP Sashi Brown.WHY...
Despite the Browns having just one win in almost two seasons under Brown, this move comes somewhat out of left field and makes almost no sense. Hired in January of 2016, Brown was tasked with rebuilding the roster from the ground up, a task which the Browns should have known would take longer than 28 games. The good news is Sashi will leave Cleveland with five picks in the first two rounds including potentially two top-10 selections. With Brown out the door, the focus will turn to the job status of Hue Jackson, but this move seems like an indication the coach has won some sort of power struggle. All that is left to do now is wait for that A.J. McCarron blockbuster.
Guy likely maneuvered for them to have two top 10 picks and they sack him. Who would want that job? It's a starter or stepping stone position at best.
By GQman2121 Go To PostTood McShay described Baker Mayfield as "having elite leadership abilities that make up for his physical shortcomings which have improved his draft stock tremendously."Mayfield has growing up to do, he doesn't appear to bad as Manziel levels of maturity, but I don't think he worth a 1st round pick.
But, sure, Lamar Jackson won't be worked out as a quarterback. Get the fuck out of here.
I hope Jackson declares, doesn't travel to the draft and then falls to the bottom of the first round and is taken by a playoff club (Ozzie pls).
Edit: Watson was playing on a very good National Title winning team filled with top prospects too let's not forget.
Louisville have been awful this year in all aspects of the game. His TD numbers are lower (by 9) but his yards per attempt both in the air and on the ground have gone slightly up. His completions are also up at 60%. He's improved while those around him have regressed.
Also, if true, really disappointed to hear about the Warren Moon sexual harassment...enjoyed watching him play growing up.
Everyone is getting sexual harassment claims against them, I wonder how many of these are false/money grabs.

we'll never know.
after the accusation drops and then the outrage is over you never really hear what comes of it.

Well yeah, his career is obviously over. No doctor is going to clear him and he's now uninsurable.
Zach Orr had to retire twice because of a neck injury and he wasn't even injured. It was a precautionary situation.

Terrible news about Shazier...watching it live, that hit wasn't all that violent, highlights the fragility of the spine.
Aleays got to keep your head up... spinal compression is no joke, he's lucky he didn't crack a vertebrae.
Forget football. I have this sad feeling that f he wasn't paralyzed, they would have told us by now.
Browns hired ex-Chiefs GM John Dorsey as general manager.NOW I see why they fired the dude. Dorsey is one of the hottest GMs to hit the market after being axed by the Chiefs.
The hiring — announced just 11 hours after the Browns fired executive vice president Sashi Brown — must have been in the works for some time. The Browns claimed Thursday evening that they had also satisfied the Rooney Rule by interviewing a minority candidate. It's arguably the best-case outcome for the Browns after they panicked and pulled the plug on their outside-the-box analytical approach (bad process). Aside from some salary cap issues in Kansas City, Dorsey had emerged as one of the league's top general managers before his stunning June firing. With Brown stockpiling draft picks and young talent, Dorsey has the skill to put the project over the top. His first order of business will be deciding on a 2018 quarterback plan.

There was alot of shit that went on this week that the NFL needs to look at. Articles and video forthcoming.

By Kibner Go To PostI glanced at something involving a Bennet diving into a center's legs.yeah that resulted in a big fight and fans chucking drinks. Nearly another Malice at the Palace.
Eagles coach Doug Pederson confirmed Carson Wentz suffered a torn ACL and is out for the season. There are people literally planning vigils in Philly today.
This is an awful development for a player who had legitimate MVP claims and a team with real Super Bowl aspirations. To add insult, the timing of the injury means Wentz is not guaranteed to be ready when the 2018 season rolls around, and he likely will be held out into training camp at the very least. With Wentz out, the Eagles will turn to Nick Foles, who managed just 42 yards on 10 attempts after Wentz left on Sunday, although he did find Nelson Agholor for a massive third-down conversion to help run out the clock. Foles starting is a big downgrade for the entire pass-catching corps, but it could force the Eagles to lean more on the running game and, specifically, Jay Ajayi. That said, it is difficult to spin this as good news for anyone in Philly.
Creepy as Hell. This is the hit, it was said he tore it on the last step BEFORE the hit

Very similar hit RG3 took against Baltimore but he was lucky enough that it wasn't an ACL. Then obviously later tore the ACL lul.
I couldn't be more pissed for Philly fans. It's nobodies fault, but this sport is really failing lately on the injury front. I'm about to say look, it's childish as fuk, but if you're established as a runner and you're QB then it's two hand touch, str8 up.
My season was ruined after Watson went down in fucking practice with a ACL and the Texans weren't doing anything besides being entertaining af during the Watson Experience, primarily because of the shit ton of other injuries we had. But the Eagles had a legit SB chance. That's tough.
All these injuries turning me even more away from football tbh. Dudes risk life and limbs for this and still don't have e guaranteed contracts meanwhile Roger gets a $200,000,000+ extension. Kap. Etc etc .

Bears TE Zach Miller (injured reserve) had to undergo eight surgeries on his injured left leg.Jesus Christ EIGHT.
According to ESPN's Jeff Dickerson, Miller has "no timetable to resume a normal life," but is confident it will happen. Miller hasn't given up on the idea of returning to football, but the 33-year-old tight end's career is likely over. From a contractual standpoint, Miller will be a 2018 free agent.

Micahel Bennet dove at the Center's legs on a kneeldown. Jags players start fighting Seahawk guys, someone stomps Bennett on the ground, Bennett goes after the stomper.
Quinton Jefferson, one of the ejected Seahawks players, runs off the field among catcalls but responds to the flying drink. He runs over the the stands and gets into it with opposing fans (never a good idea). When he starts to walk away another drink whizzes by his head and he loses his goddamn mind.

There's a lot more, but I just picked out the things that I think are theoretically usable as evidence in court.

Jami Cantor, who worked as a wardrobe stylist for NFL Network, filed a wrongful termination suit against NFL Enterprises in Los Angeles Superior Court back in October.
[…]
She said that both Taylor and Weinberger sent her inappropriate pictures, with Taylor additionally sending her a video of him masturbating in the shower. Cantor also noted that Weinberger said on one occasion that she was “put on earth to pleasure me” and pressed his crotch against her, asking her to touch it. She also described receiving explicit texts from former NFL Network analyst Donovan McNabb, who currently appears on ESPN.
[…]
In addition to the incidents described above, Cantor notes Weinberger requesting that she join him in an office bathroom because he was “super horny” and sending her a text reading, “watching you walk down the hall makes me crazy, your ass drives me insane.”
She notes that Evans propositioned her multiple times and repeatedly made lewd overtures:Heath Evans sent Plaintiff nude pictures of himself on at least two separate occasions. Mr. Evans constantly propositioned Plaintiff to have sex with him. Mr. Evans also made several sexually inappropriate comments to Plaintiff, such as, “you’re making me horny,” and “needed to get in you deep and hard.”
[…]Mr. Sapp also gave Plaintiff sex toys as a Christmas gifts three years in a row, showed Plaintiff nude pictures of numerous women he claimed to have slept with, and openly talked about his sex life in front of Plaintiff and other NFL employees, including supervisors.
Some of the specific texts she received from McNabb are also included:including but not limited to, asking Plaintiff if she was a “squirter,” telling Plaintiff she “looked like the kind of girl that squirted when getting fucked,” “CUM to dinner with me,” and “why don’t you CUM over after work.”

In on the field news, the Pats offense looked completely over matched against the dolphins defense. That was a beat down. At least Belichick seemed to be in a good mood despite the loss.
