That performance the Chiefs was amazing, but the Patriots looked like dogshit in the 2nd half. Defense was ass tier and Brady looked old.
No pass rush for New England either
No pass rush for New England either
That was a pleasant surprise. Hunt and Alex flexed HAAAARD. Good team win.
Brady did look old but his protection was insane. Maybe the KC pass rush is just trash though.
Cooks is clearly not that 3rd & 8 or 2nd & 10+ possession receiver that's going to bail him out like Edelman. Amendola tried--he's just not very dynamic. Gronk looked worthless all night.
Brady will come around but New England could be in trouble if they don't sort out that defense.
They'll still walk the AFC East because none of the other three clubs know how to win.

By The Frankman Go To PostSteelers facing the Browns is unfair
It's a bye-week basically :D
Comin' out with a free 1-0 record.
Ok these injuries are... yikes.
Allen Robinson has been ruled out for the remainder of Week 1.
The non-contact injury didn't look great. Robinson caught a 17-yard gain toward the sideline, then came up limping badly, and couldn't make it to the sideline initially. He spent several moments down on the field, then eventually got up and walked slowly to the locker room.
Danny Woodhead left Sunday's Week 1 game against the Bengals with a left hamstring injury and is doubtful to return.
Woodhead pulled up on Baltimore's opening drive. He was helped off by a trainer and eventually carted to the locker room. Woodhead may have aggravated a pre-existing injury after missing a chunk of camp with a hamstring issue. He caught all three of his targets for 33 yards and handled one carry for four yards before exiting. Expect Buck Allen to see more run in his absence.
Eagles CB Ronald Darby was carted off with an ankle injury Week 1 against the Redskins.Looked like a break to me.
Acquired last month to be the Eagles' new No. 1 corner, Darby was hurt in non-contact fashion. He rolled his ankle incredibly badly, and it looked like a fracture or severe sprain. The cart had to come pick Darby up off the field while medical personnel stabilized the joint. He may be done for the year.
Tom Savage was benched by the Texans in favor of Deshaun Watson in Week 1.
Savage was an unthinkable trainwreck in the first half, absorbing six sacks including 3.5 by Jags DE Calais Campbell alone. Savage also lost a fumble six. Savage is entirely bereft of mobility and takes forever to make decisions, and that was never going to work behind a Texans offensive line that can't pass protect whatsoever in the absence of LT Duane Brown (holdout).
Pittsburgh in position to get their lunch stolen...
(2:38PM) Some injury updates from Dr. David Chao (@ProFootballDoc)…he speculates Eagles DB Ronald Darby could have a fractured ankle, which would require season-ending injury. He also fears the worst for WR Allen Robinson, who potentially tore his ACL.
Za'Darius Smith also injured for Baltimore. Club saying sprained knee. We're hoping it's not serious as he's an emerging star player.
Woodhead looks done though. Hamstring will linger all year.
Zero playoff wins.
How?

They need better offensive coordination. My directv went out here. How are the Niners looking? Do we have that number 1 pick on lock?
Yeah yall the worst team I seen so far. If yall had any kind of offense tho yall would be up. The Panthers don't look good and Cam arm is all over the place

basura... Seattle caught on the free play 12 men call to a TD.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Allen Robinson's left knee injury is "significant."
Robinson went down in non-contact fashion mere minutes into Jacksonville's beatdown of the Texans. It sounds like there's a good chance he misses the entire season, thrusting Marqise Lee and Allen Hurns into the Jags' top two roles. The Jags are pressed for depth, with impressive fourth-rounder Dede Westbrook (core) stuck on injured reserve for at least eight weeks. Lee will be in the WR3 mix in PPR leagues, while Hurns should see plenty of red zone looks. Official word on Robinson should come following an MRI.
Dak has sailed half a dozen or more passes already. He's going to get someone killed.
Eli has been terrible. Not Andy Dalton terrible, but pretty bad.

By GQman2121 Go To PostDak has sailed half a dozen or more passes already. He's going to get someone killed.Hard to throw with guys in your face after two seconds. It's stunning the only weak area of the Giants offense are their tackles, and the team did really nothing to improve them. He can't even survey the field and has to do short routes.

That was such a BS DPI on Jenkins. Textbook coverage on Dez and the ball was out of bounds. Refs gifted the Cowboys a TD.

By domino Go To Posti feel like the giants o-line been shit for 5 years at least. It has for at least 3 years. Giants did nothing to work on it really.
By Smokey Go To PostTexans were a mistake. Fire O'Brien.Savage takes so long to make a decision... best thing to to have Watson be the QB and put in a few college plays to ease him in.
By domino Go To PostWhy? Do you know the tradition of great Giants QBs? It's not a race thing as they have had blacks QBs in the past, they weren't any good though.
geno aint the hill to die on for this but that's honestly incredible.
