If the VC stuff doesn't bother people I'm not going to judge them for it. But there's so many people who would rather keep you quiet as if we are ruining the game. And so many people on 2ks side. And so many people who can't read.
Stuff like that makes me wish it took 500,000 VC to get a player to a 70. Those idiots just don't see the point until their bottom line gets affected.

I feel like 3 point shooter is the one thing that would tangibly change my player. playmaker would be nice with the badges, but I'm generally pass first anyways and don't play like a dribble gawd so I'm not sure it'd change too much for me. and on defense, I think I can play decent enough D without all that. But I know that having any kind of defensive stopper badge is HUGE

Here's what I was talking about, if there's a 1 4 set and you get the ball to Draymond in the corner you can get the CPU to over help if you drive.
Everytime I did that it worked, and when I tried it from the wing Isaiah Thomas would sink down to help off Curry. The CPU was treating Dray's drives like he was Jordan in 88 and LeBron would sprint from the corner to him leaving KD open. Also LeBron does not play like himself, he spends too much time off the ball and posting up.

I don't have much faith in them after last year, I had a great record in play now but watching someone run away from a 40% three point shooter in the corner made me hate the game and seeing hints of it again after all that shit they said in the blogs.
Individual defensive settings should fix that as well

I think LDD is a lot more impressive at the rim. Your badge nullification and defensive stats come into play much more at the basket in terms of strips and badge nullification (where a post scorer or an alley ooper finisher or a slasher is relying on those badges to improve the chance at a basket).
On the perimeter side I think it's a lot less reliable. An open shot is an open shot, and all the defensive stats in the world aren't going to stop you from eating the occasional pick or ending up on the losing side of the stick game. Basically--perimeter players are trying to get around/away from you, guys playing at the rim basically have to come directly at you.
So the short of it is I don't think I'd suggest our 1 or 2 to go straight for LDD as a secondary. More reliable offensive from either position is imo more valuable. What you guys think?

I'm basing it off what I saw in the 2ku stuff, it seems like good defenders are noticeable this year. Last year the animations could override your defensive stats and in general the lateral quickness of players was horrible with the animations being much faster. Having used Klay Thompson to guard Isaiah Thomas his lateral quickness on defense makes a difference.
Most teams are going to be all offense, being a team with multiple defenders that can switch on screens would kill a lot of what they're going to do. A more mobile frontcourt that might give up some rebounds because of strength that can switch onto guards and hold their own, and wings that can guard big men on switches. If everyone can switch, then the picks die and you could overplay them into driving. Everything about pro-am should be about giving up only 2s.

I've been talking about it a lot this past week. 2k will respond to "Horrible CAP" or possibly "Why can't we see our ratings" but not "Why are things more expensive and earning VC more difficult every year?"
The problem is that for every one person who is annoyed with it (Or at least recognizes the bullshit), there's 10 more simps who are willing to get fucked in the ass with no vaseline. And not only are these stupid simps willing to get fucked in the ass, they're louder than the people who are upset, because they're insistent that you just whine and should deal with the world.

Once Live has the connected franchise mode I'm done with 2k, I honestly feel like the core gameplay of Live is better and much more true to the NBA than 2k. The animations are holding them back, but I've read nothing but positives about the Head to Head online play for Live, their pro-am sucks though.
