Incredibly pleased with how Conte was able to neutralize Atleti's attack. They created nothing of note the entire match.
I don't think that was the strongest Chelsea 11 but they all played their parts well - even Cahill was solid. Expect Fabregas to be dropped for Pedro against City on Saturday.

Ancelotti seems to have a dozen of problems.
Bayern is on the verge of a huge transition with Robben,Ribery moving towards the end of their career. Alonso and Lahm were already pretty huge blows, and neither Rudy nor Kimmich are a proper replacement yet.
Boateng is out of form, Müller still hasn't found his form and Neuer is constantly out.
Tactics aren't really working out either.
Somehow there seems to be alot of conflicts boiling under the surface. Certain players are really pissed off and Ancelotti doesn't seem to be able to solve those conflicts.
Add on top that Honess coming back triggered alot of unecessary shit, that guy is a fossil and should have just enjoyed his time outside.
Rumenigge did really well without him and calmy managed the club and now, that old loudspeaker Hoeness is back and talking shit on every occassion.
Their transfers didn't exactly work out 100% and their youth has been pretty shit for years with no player breaking through.
Oh and Hoeness taking in Salihamidžić as sport director while kicking Reschke out is another abysmal decision.
