By Plasma Go To PostEven if it isn't a straight red he would have gone off anyway he was already on a yellow. That's fair for this game, but it's a 1 match ban vs 3 now
looking at the replay, i don't think he did that on purpose.
but it's a potential leg breaker nonetheless.
put him in prison.

Would have been a harsh yellow.
By Punished Go To PostHave no interest in watching Dublin demolish Mayo either. Should've respected that funeral boys. This is it. This is Mayo's year.
By Shanks D Zoro Go To PostWould have been a harsh yellow. He went studs up on his shin it's debatable as a red but that's at least a yellow.

your birth was harsh
By Killer7 Go To Postsimilar to Cahill's red?
Cahill's was more reckless because he went to ground.

He lost possession of the ball and overstretched to pass it.
I can understand a yellow, but sometimes these things just happen in the course of a game. No intent to harm there. Was just a 50/50 and Kola came off worse.

m8, you slamming Welbeck because he got injured. Guy gives his best every single game.
By bud Go To Postluiz is filth.Truer words were never spoken

No need to discuss Luiz's red. It's a red, as was Mane's. If you risk an injury in your challenge and hit your opponent it should always be a red. Doesn't matter if it doesn't result in an injury or it were a 50/50 challenge.
Brain dead players need to learn not to risk it. A single injury is an injury too much.

Very pleased with the performance.
I don't see much potential in this team with Wenger. However, if the players give that type of effort win, draw, or lose and I will be pleased.

By Shanks D Zoro Go To PostHe lost possession of the ball and overstretched to pass it.It's not about intent. It doesn't matter that it wasn't a real tackle in your eyes. That shit was dangerous. He's a dumb fuck with a history of dumb fuck actions. Throw the book at him. Throw the whole library at him.

By Perfect Blue Go To PostNot a red
in what planet is that NOT a red
Kidjr, you've been watching the wrong match. Imagine watching a club for which a draw isn't considered a massive improvement.
...am I the only one a bit disappointed? Felt the game was there to be won. I'll take a point though.
By inky Go To PostNapoli casually winning 5-0and still a shit club.
Important we win today, with several other sides dropping points.
Failed on almost every occasion in a similar scenario last year so I'm not confident.

I try and call things fairly regardless of my club. Kola went in just as recklessly there.
Football has evolved to the point where 50% of tackles are deemed dangerous.
I would be one of the first calling for a red if I thought it actually was one.

lol. Enjoy the top the league
Liked that we looked more stable in the second half, but still not clinical enough in the final third. Wingbacks really didn't get involved as much as they have in the past.
Luiz should definitely have been sent off, but not a straight red for me. It was a 50/50 ball and his follow through is what caught Kolasinac on the shin causing him to tumble down. At that point in the match it's certainly a yellow card which would have sent him off anyway.

yeah, could've gotten more out of it.
the good thing about welbeck's injury is that lacazette won't be subbed off (that often) anymore.
why keeps doing that, no one knows.
