Boring first half, you'd think we'd played on Thursday night. You can't score goals playing so slowly.
As a swans fan so far we have done a reasonable job. We are looking a bit too much for the ball over the top of spurs defence, need to try and play through perhaps but we are trying to play a fast counter-attack.

Perfect. Season 5 episode 5 of always sunny. Time to watch.
By sohois Go To PostThe only criticism to level at Klopp would be a failure to buy a defender. Liverpool set up well and had a ton of chances today, with a good amount of rotation. I've always been quick to blast Klopp for his awful substitutions but today was just about the players failing to deliver.Sure, as a one off game I can see that perspective but even here and other places there's talk of them being predictable and this kind of match being a characteristic of Klopp's Liverpool. It's just puzzling to me why he gets more positive treatment compared to other top 6 managers, IMO.
By Oddinho Go To PostGod damn this is some rank bullshit. And there's been a lot of rank bullshit round these parts latelyWhat part specifically? It's just my interpretation of it, you're free to disagree but at least provide some input.
By Grizzled Cola Go To PostI can absolutely see Arsenal winning tomorrow but the only reason why is narrative. They'll get smashed 6-0

Every team will have some draws and defeats against such teams, especially if they defend as well as Burnley did.

Very difficult to get a plan B against such teams unless you specifically buy some big lump to hit crosses at, like a Fellaini.

Have to keep that up and hope Abraham or Ayew can latch onto something at the other end.
Would love to see Bony at some point.

Because it's like you don't even look or read anything you just started this thought process and went with it even though it runs counter to reality.
Liverpool fans and the English media have both been critical of Klopp for his shortcomings. He doesn't get a pass from anyone. The truth is that he's done quite well, and despite results like today there's clear improvement in the quality of play at Liverpool.
Liverpool lost to Burnley 2-0 last season btw
There's a frequent misconception that having a clear identity means you must Ben one-dimensional.
People know what to expect with Klopp teams, yes. They also know what to expect from Mourinho and Guardiola teams. That doesn't make them one dimensional.

What is narrative? Is narrative some kind of magical spunk juice that flows from Wenger's nutsack after he loses a couple games that lets us get a clutch win once in a while?
Today is the anniversary/remembrance day of Night of the Pencils in Argentina. Some horrible stuff. There's a very good film about it too: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Night_of_the_Pencils_(film)

I don't think Swans have linked three passes together in the last half hour. They're clearly here to defend for that point. Also don't think Abraham should have come off for Bony. Ayew has done a lot of nothing. Tammy was at least running a bunch.
