By Grizzled Cola Go To PostI genuinely love how much Lukaku celebrates after a goal someone else scores and a win, dude really really loves it and wants success
Loving him so far. Looks so annoyed when he fucks a chance or someone doesn't pass to him, then immediately starts pressing from the front and signposting to others to do the same. Great mentality.

Great mentality.Im a little concerned that he has a habit of missing sitters, in his last few games, including today, hes missed absolute easy nailed on goals, but still scored, im not sure if thats fine or not. Its obviously not ideal but its not like hes not scoring, I just wonder against the big opposition with one or two chances how hell do, as opposed to the 4 or 5 clear looks he gets a game atm.
That goal on the 50s mark... Braga is the second strongest team in the league and this is the third consecutive match against them where Ana Capeta came of the bench to steal us the win in the last minutes. She did it on the cup final on extra time, scored the 1-1 that took us to the extra time in the last kick of the 90 minutes and then scored two more on the extra time of the Super Cup final and today she came out of the bench to do this.
I love our women's team.
Is 4-0 the standard score for any Man United game now?
Shit is getting ridiculous. They're winning the title again this year aren't they

About 12 different football games at the same time. Shocking.
I'm waiting for the inevitable 2.30am kickoff for the Manchester Derby on Netflix.

Scum mate; your point is spot on but I was actually on about video games. There was so much choice. Football Manager on the Spectrum was amazing.
Emlyn Hughes International Soccer was amazing. Then Sensible Soccer...
Ronaldo V-Football, Adidas Power Soccer, Actua Soccer, Sega Worldwide Soccer, Virtual Soccer, Red Card Soccer, Sega Soccer Slam, Michael Owen's World League Soccer.
Everyone chasing after AAA gaming and the death of mid tier/AA gaming is the cause, mate. What a time to be alive that was.

GREAT DAYS.

Anyone of those matches is bound to be more entertaining than any of the Premier League matches for tomorrow.
Saw Gerald's Game, Mike Flanagan once again didn't disappoint me. It was a tough Stephen King story to adapt but he pulled it off.
That scene is going to stay with me for a long time.
I'll write a more detailed post about it tomorrow on the 31 days of horror thread.

the scum vs Liverpool is always decent banter
The most entertaining PL games are always the ones people expect nothing of anyway. Well, unless West Brom or Stoke are involved.

By Zabojnik Go To PostThis is ours. That's a cool promo video. Glad to see Juventus starting their own women's team, we need more big European teams to follow their example.

I wished the other 2 big teams in Portugal would also start their own women's teams, there are talented women out there that just need good conditions to work and improve their football.
Sporting basically walked over the league on their first try, only drawing two matches (one of them away at Braga) and winning every other match by comfortable margins.
That low level of competition made it difficult to qualify for the final group stage of the women's Champions League as we had to face 3 teams way better than the rest of our league in just 7 days and that was even before our domestic league started.
We almost pulled it through but one goal made all the difference in the end.
Arsène Wenger claims Arsenal “feel like a different team” now to the panicky, vulnerable, unfocused lot who were embarrassed at Liverpool at the end of August and he has been impressed by the players’ response during a run of five wins and a draw across all competitions. “You see the way we play football. You need to have a united group to do that,” he said.

We'll likely dominate the domestic competition from the start and get destroyed vs. whatever EU team Slizz's girls play for. Gotta start somewhere, I suppose, but if other big clubs don't follow, it'll be a short-lived affair, I'm afraid.

Great, everytime someone talks about how our mentality is improving we then go and get smashed.
Best was when Theo said we were the best team in Europe while Barca had won something like 13 in a row to start 2015. Then we played them and got smashed.
I admire cupheads artstyle and think as a technical achievement its terrific, I also find it incredibly unsettling and horrible to look at, reminds me of terrible childhood cartoons that gave me nightmares.
all the eyes are soulless and yet everyone has a smile, even the evil people, they all smile, they smile but theres nothing there behind it, its like an evil doll or some weird shit you would find discarded in an alleyway, a toy from the 30's that, sans all the cute hair looks like a tortured death puppet. I used to sleep at my nans house sometimes when my parents got sick of us and there was this huge, huge teddy bear like thing there, it was an actual bear and you could see in time gone by it was meant to have fluff, but it didnt, the marble eyes were also rotten, it was nasty to touch and nan used to tuck it into my bed and said it would protect me, i would throw it off, she would come in doing her night checks and put it back in, she said if were werent asleep shed wash our mouths out with soap, i never told my dad that.
Anyway that doll was fucking horrible, it was taller than me as a kid and I had nightmares when I was back in my house that if I went to the loo at night id pass the stairs and it would be at the bottom watching me.

that scene in the sixth sense where he goes to the loo and the woman walks behind him and it goes creepy i vomited when i saw
Oh my god Cola I feel the same way.
I can't play the game, it creeps me out, the soulless eyes, the exaggerated idle movements. Everything.

I won't be watching the Aresnal game live since it starts at 4:30AM on the west coast, but I'm sure I'll be happy about the outcome.

I hear what Flutter and Cola are saying about Cuphead, plus the animation style and motif comes from a time when cartoons where super racist, the obsessive reverence these particular devs seem to have for cartoons of that era, gives me pause....
I like the horrific cartoony look of cuphead. If I was a kid it would freak me out but I love it now.
The only thing I don't like about Cuphead is the chromatic aberration. It's excessive

cuphead looks dope, might play it cause of the art style even though I can't stand platformers anymore
