Looks like our starting LT is out today, and we may have lost a DT for the season (academics).
Wonderful.
Wonderful.
Penn States RB Saquon Barkley now has 9 carries for 145 yards and 2 TDs.
State killing Akron 35-0 at half.

By KingGondo Go To PostYou think there's a chance EWU can win?Only in the general sense that every season FCS teams win games they "shouldn't." If making an actual prediction I'd say we win handily.
OL was already probably the weakest position group on the team, particularly with regard to depth, so if nothing else it's just not good to lose the opportunity to get all the starters together for some gelling time.
Terrible offensive possession bailed out immediately by the defense with a turnover.
What team am I watching?

EWU got a flag for kicking out of bounds when the ball just bounced off the pylon. I would have guess that was a touchback since the pylon is part of the endzone.
Was out of internet range for a while tonight.
Check the news and some score updates and such once I get internet back. Skim some summaries of the Tech game, things like that.
...didn't even realize Baylor lost to Liberty until an hour later, since it apparently doesn't even rate being on ESPN's CFB front page.

Hit on Michigan -4.5 and Alabama -7. Tried to get cute and do a 4 way parlay, and got rekt. Still came out ahead today tho. Was a good day.
By Smokey Go To Postthis vtech/wv game is hype afLmao, totally forgot, just put it on.
Francois out for season with torn patella. Unfortunate, thats a guy despite being on a rival team I have a lot of respect for.

UCLA is horribly coached if they can't turn these recruits along with Rosen into a competitive squad.

He kept coming back.... and beat us. Dude is tough as nails, the hit he got hurt on was the unfortunate roll-up. Player tackling from behind and the leg gets sucked under.

I can. Sumlin and Herman both lose in epic fashion this week. Both sabotaged their last season at UH. Fuk em.
Feeling good.
Feeling good.
Haha
That's the spirit. I really think CFB is the best sport for schadenfreude because there are so many despicable characters and so many opportunities for embarrassment.

Sucks that UH didn't get to play their first game, but there were bigger problems for the city than a football game. So now we face Arizona on the road on Saturday. Feel like we should win, but without that first game to get football legs under you, not so sure. Excited either way for the Kyle Allen and post-traitor Herman era to begin.
I do have to say, I was pretty sure Herman was gonna do well at UT but they were *awful* on Saturday. Maryland looked decent but they should never push around a school like Texas.
After that first weekend it looks like there's a pretty big gap between the Oklahoma schools and the rest of the conference.

Do yall buy the reason Texas programs have taken a step back is because of the air raid prevalence in TXHSFB fucking up the talent development
By domino Go To PostDo yall buy the reason Texas programs have taken a step back is because of the air raid prevalence in TXHSFB fucking up the talent developmentNot one single bit. They are able to easily recruit a large portion of the best athletes in the country. It's down to their coaching and non-student leadership.
e: the air raid produces great offense at other schools. other schools value those quarterbacks from Texas high schools, too. that Texas can't capitalize on that talent is a fault of the paid employees of the school.
Tennessee was extremely fortunate to win that game. GT should've just handed it off right up the middle in 2OT smh.
Great first week of CFB, whew
