Not looking forward to interacting with Penn Cult fans but the noon kick makes it briefer at least.
Hoping to catch the backhalf of the midday slate, at least.

Imagine if you will… being a fan of a team that has only won against its archrival 7 times in your 33 years of life.
Imagine standing in slush for 4 hours in weather that never crept above 10 degrees, only to see your team cough up a late lead (and a conference title) to a team with a converted tight end at quarterback.
Imagine being a fan of a team with a top 10 winning percentage over the last 10 years, but being in the same state as one of the 9 with a better winning percentage.

Bedlam fills me with existential dread. Probably why this week's thread is late. I'll be at the game in Stillwater on Saturday. Hoping for the best, but expecting the worst. As always.

ISU, OU, OSU, TEX, and TCU still have a shot at a 5 way tie for the conference title. If they all won out, except for matches where they play each other (OU > OSU, OSU > ISU, TEX > TCU, TCU > OU). The conference championship teams are then determined by the point differential between the games played among each other.

Reminds me of that time OU, TTU, and Texas were in a 3 way tie that one year.
Ready for another game we should win handily but may end up being down 21-0 five minutes into.

Our original starting kicker is back this week! No more shanking extra points and sub 30% field goal percentage!
…hopefully.

That's true.
There is a game with a 1-7 team and an 0-8 team tied 0-0 at the end of the first quarter but I just can't imagine it being more boring than our own game.
I don't know what happened to that team from the first 5.5 games of this season but starting at halftime in Morgantown we have been absolutely awful.
Got a TD, then just got a stop to get the ball back with 4:32 left in the half, and we get the ball to start the 2nd. Let's see how we handle a bit of momentum.
::edit::
Apparently we handle it by going 3 and out.

I'll be at UM vs. VaTech like I am for every UM home game. Think this game might actually not be close, unlike our last 5.
Less than a minute into the 4th, we now have as many points (21) as we had in the second halves of our last three games combined.
Lighting delay in Lansing for PSU & MSU. Kids apparently eating pizza in the locker room and they don't expect to restart until 530 local time. That'll be over a four hour delay. Not ideal.
Playing for ****ing overtime with the offense on the field and almost a minute left on the clock. The year of bizarro Texas Tech continues.
Just got back from Thor an hour ago and there's madness in college football. Good finish coming up with Clemson and NC State.
Holy shit fuck Fox. They've been showing this game while Minnesota / Michigan is delayed and totally bailed after the time out but now they're back after the pick. That's so shit!

So we just blew an 11 point 4th quarter lead to a bad Kansas State team on their 3rd string QB. We lost one of our top 2 rush ends for the rest of the season to injury in that game, and the other one had a targeting call in the second half so he's out for the first half this week.
We're going to lose to Baylor, aren't we.

I don't think so.
