By 0vercastPortland looks pretty good… Dallas looks pretty bad.
To be fair, they're missing the best SF in the series
Dallas had several chances to take control and Portland several chances to fold. The respective teams didn't.
Good win by Portland considering the circumstances

That's probably good for Portland. Can probably bring him back for less than he would be getting.

I'm all over it. My sources are legit.

Lol
i would think considering all the injuries this season that they will change things up a bit for the next one to get less back to backs. hopefully that's the case

Back to backs are so fucking stupid.
I saw Wesley stop and re-tie his shoes at least twice during the game. It makes me wonder if he was already feeling something off but given his stubbornness about playing through injuries he thought he could ignore it.
I knew it the moment he did it he tore it, just like with kobe. Once you've gone through it you can tell when it happens to another.
Fuck that bullshit. Wes is fun to watch. Portland had a chance to do something, too. Man, that just sucks.
I really hope Wes still gets paid right. It's a contract year for him and he deserves it. He probably won't even be ready by season opener. Just awful.
I wanted to come here to talk about how awesome Westbrook has been and instead this. :(

You gotta wonder how much shit people play through in general because they're going to feel a bit different the next day after a game.

(he was limping before it happened)

I know you want to figure out the reason why, but I don't think it has anything to do with shoes.
If there's one thing that might be right, it's fatigue. The season has too many games in too short a span. And the game isn't like it used to be where players pounded the rock and there was either a slow tempo or a fast moving tempo on the perimeter. It's an athletic game, bodies banging all over. The bodies are stressed. Players are too athletic these days for these games.

with how hard wes plays he was bound to get hurt. schedules are too rough but we've all known that forever and the nba doesn't appear to give two shits. i can still see us taking a series but the cinderella finals dream is probably dead.
god dammit.
if this is the last picture we see of him in blazers gear i'm gonna cry

Sucks for Wes and hurts his next contract.
A big loss for the Blazers defense as well.

They'll probably won't resign him, at least not next season.
Afflalo probably gets his contract if he plays wells the rest of the way IMO.

Aren't the league cutting some preseason games so the season will have less back to backs? That's not not giving a shit.
I mean, they could cut a bunch of games, but the players would see less money too so I doubt the players union would agree to it.
Did the league say they're doing that to minimize back to backs or just the amount of games in general?
Personally I think back to backs are not only detrimental to the health of the players but the caliber of play you're going to see across multiple games. The time frame for some (most?) isn't even 21 hours of not playing, especially given travel and time zones.

By reiloOKC isn't very good in close games/keeping leads this season.
haven't had their best team play much this year also
