I've sort of been on this for a while now. People expect a lot of guards who come into the league. More than they do with Bigs. Bigs are allowed a few years to develop. Guards are expected to get it going from day 1.
So many of these guys come through shitty systems that are really about exploiting physical gifts than developing skills.

-Memphis weren't going to make the playoffs without Marc last year. He's their defensive anchor and they practically run the offense through him.I think he impacts a game more than Dwight, especially if last season's Dwight is what we're going by.

A career average of under 10 points is far from being a scorer. I'll give you the better passer but Noah isn't a traditional back to basket big man and plays in the high post(which allows for more assists and jumpers) far more often than Howard ever does. Dwight is just as good of a rebounder and defender as Noah and arguably better.
Would like to think Randolph/Gasol split the offensive duties pretty evenly and just going by the shot charts, Conley/Marc/Zach all average about 13 shots a game. Gasol doesn't draw near the amount of attention Howard does on offense, mainly because of his athleticism.
Personally don't think free throws is a valid knock on centers since a good majority of them are bad at them. And yes, Duncan is better. 2nd best PF to play the game after KG.
