By KingGondo Go To PostSeriously man? He came back from knee surgery with nothing but aspirin and a night at a Holiday Inn. OKC has enough wherewithall to nix a Tyson Chandler trade but then they rush their keys players back on the regular. They don't get to play "we never saw it coming" with this.Like what? Specifics please.
Westbrook and Ibaka were both rushed back at some point.
By all accounts, KD should've been out another month or two but came back AND played 30MPG.
By psychintellect Go To PostMan how the fuck has LeBron not had a single major injury with all the minutes he's played?
Crazy

If that were true then Wade would be the GOAT
Not sure man. more chips, better defense, same number of Finals MVP's. But Bird has more regular MVP's and higher averages. Kobe had more longevity. Like we don't think about Bird being reduced to being essentially a role player some nights because of his back. Don't care, pick either one. As a Laker fan, I'd pick Kobe but that's possibly just homerism talking.
vaha good poster... thunder am fuck cursed sorry dongo......
btw who have the sonics franchise? super sonic rox
psycho?

The Thunder announced that Westbrook had a small corrective procedure on October 1st of 2013, with an expected return of 4-6 weeks. He came back on November 3rd, 33 days later. He played pain-free until after Christmas (at an all-star level) but he started experiencing swelling. That was when he had the third procedure.
The team said he'd be out until after the all-star break, which was true. He didn't return until February 20th. It's also worth noting that he's been playing at the highest level of his career since.
I'm willing to criticize the front office when it's warranted, but I hear the "OKC's FO rushes players back all the time" argument and I'm not sure it's true.
These decisions aren't unilateral and things get complicated when you're trying to repair the human body so it can withstand the stress of high-level professional sports.
keep fucking that chicken man
anyways, check out blake griffin clowning the fuck out of the coach's son https://instagram.com/p/0vM02UrzQw/
EC playoffs are gonna be so fucking boring :/
Western playoffs are looking a lot less interesting than a couple weeks ago :/
fuck the draft :/
fuck college ball :/
By Dark PhaZe Go To Postyou're probably going up against the Cavs and you're not excited?
quit basketball then
The fuck I have to be excited for? Bunch of fans thinking there's a posisiblity that we win? We are gonna get put to the sword.
This is gonna be like watching freeza kill krillin but vegeta is our last hope.

If you're just going to ignore facts I took the time to look up then I just won't bother arguing with you anymore.
Also, Ibaka was able to play on his injury and had it treated after the season. It was a risk and it got us back into the Spurs series without endangering his health long-term.
Ibaka came back early from his calf injury.
KD came back early from his foot injury.
Let's ignore those, too.
EC playoffs are gonna be so fucking boring :/
celtics can upser hawks................. bucks toronto too......
chicago vs bulls are close too.....
west am more boring................... warriors easy spurs if get houston or blazers easy
memphis easy vs mavs..... so west only clippers and who they get only hard to predict.
So Durant's having another procedure done on his foot and he's gonna be out of commission for six months?
RIP Kevin Durant's career.
no way celtics an beat the hawks man.
Bucks(especially nowadays) can't beat the raptors. Either way, who cares?
chicago vs bulls are close too…..
I'd call it even

I mean god damn you still have Dragic, Wade, Deng and a 26 PER center. You over there acting like you're helpless.

Ibaka's calf injury wasn't a long-term concern. He played hurt on it in the WCF with pain management then got it fixed after the season. He's been fine this season until the recent knee procedure.
By all accounts KD was progressing well before he started experiencing pain again. It was monitored until they realized it wasn't getting better. Like I said, he's apparently among the less than 10% of cases that doesn't respond to a screw to fix the issue.
People are assuming lots of things when they have very little information. Considering how valuable his health is to the team, to the sponsors, and to his health I highly doubt they took any of the medical or playing time decisions they've made lightly.

Wade is in a continuos state of death, Whiteside is injured, Dragic is great, Deng is a net zero most games.
then our bench.......
Next season though?6th seed.

By reilo Go To Post All those fucking rationalization and excuses... damn dude.
I went back and looked at the Westbrook injury timeline based on the argument that he was "rushed back," and I found that it wasn't the case. That wasn't "rationalization" or "excuses," it was looking at the public statements of the team and seeing if they lined up with reality.
That's a lot more than anyone who's claiming the contrary has done.
I'm willing to discuss it and admit when I'm wrong, but all I've seen so far are baseless accusations.
no way celtics an beat the hawks man. why.... we beat then when atlanta was good......
hawks prime am done psycho...... atlanta is a choker tem. you are doubting celtics man? gimme a break dude.

It's been years and you couldn't even admit that Harden leaving was an idiotic trade and that Scott Brooks is never gonna get OKC over the hump.
I shouldn't have ever assumed that you'd be able to talk about OKCs medical staff.
Gondo has lost his mind.
KD comes back in 6 weeks from an injury with 12-16 week healing time and his response is "it was good till it wasn't"?
Let it go.

“It wasn’t that I was uncomfortable with who [Bryant] was as a player or a person, that was never the issue to me,” Howard said. “I think that kind of gets twisted because of how things ended up. Everybody on that team got injured. I think we had five games together before somebody was injured. … I didn’t have an issue back then how Kobe was. Kobe wanted to win as badly as I did. Our personalities are different. I’m not a guy who is going to go off on my teammates. I tried that approach and for me it didn’t work. For Kobe, it works. He’s won a couple championships. He’s also played with some great talent. For the most part, it just wasn’t the time for us to win.”
Lol. Stay Clownshoes Dwight.
By Vahagn Go To PostLol. Stay Clownshoes Dwight.
Are all Lakers fans this salty about Howard?
By Branduil Go To Post At the time people were wondering if OKC had rushed Durant back way too soon, let's not rewrite history.
So because there was idle speculation about him being rushed back that's supposed to take precedence over people with first hand knowledge of the situation, such as the team, doctors who have actually examined him, and KD himself?
OK.
