He sat comfortably in Aldridge's backpack before getting outplayed by Tony Parker as far as I remember.

I don't understand the humor.
By IWMTB19 Go To Post Noel averaging 13 points, 11 rebounds, and 5 blocks+steals per game in March.
Oh Pellies
The biggest issue Grunfeld's teams have run into while trying to make the shift from playoff contender to title contender has been capitalizing on the draft. Of the 11 draft picks the Wizards either drafted or acquired from 2010-2013, only two (John Wall and Bradley Beal) have started more than 10 games in the NBA this season, and six are currently out of the league.

By psychintellect Go To PostI think Anthony Davis and Nerlens Noel would be pretty good defensively.
I think.
when you have an opportunity to draft two of the greatest defensive potential bigs back to back, you absolutely don't do it for jrue holiday reasons
oh and throw in a lottery pick as well
By IWMTB19 Go To Post Noel averaging 13 points, 11 rebounds, and 5 blocks+steals per game in March.
Wait, no he's not.
He's averaging 13 points, 11 rebounds, 2 blocks and 2.5 stls in March.
By psychintellect Go To PostI think Anthony Davis and Nerlens Noel would be pretty good defensively.
I think.
I was going to say they could have been even better if they didn't' pick Austin Rivers too, but the next 6 after him were Myers Leonard, Jeremy Lamb, Kendall Marshall, John Henson, Mo Harkless and Royce White, so things wouldn't really be that different.

At least Embiid + Noel might be the next best thing.

? ESPN says 2.3 BPG and 2.5+2.3 is pretty damn close to 5.

my bad.
By romrei Go To Post maclemore is rookie? good player suns out of playoff race
sophomore.
By etiolation Go To Post If this holds on, the Suns would have lost to three different Kings coaches in the same season. I am not sure if any team has ever lost to three different coaches of the same team within a season.
I'd look into the Lakers' 2013 superteam season

By KumaJG Go To Post Did Hornets really draft Cody Zeller over Noel? Interesting.
Kemba & Biyombo over Klay, Kawhi, Mirotic, Butler, Parsons, Faried, Isaiah Thomas, Vucevic
the next year they barely missed out on AD and picked Jeffery Taylor instead of Draymond Green
2013 they passed on Noel, Antetokounmpo &Gobert.
Obviously you can make a hyperbolic list like that for any team.....but seeing how much talent they whiffed on in the span of just 3 seasons is kinda crazy.
MKG/Draymond/Noel plus Butler or Klay......jesus christo first team to 50 points wins.
I like that Nik Stuaskas new nickname is Sauce Castillo because of Closed Captioning.

Andrew Unterberger @AUgetoffmygold Mar 24

My closed captioning just referred to Nik Stauskas as "Sauce Castillo" and I will never be able to not call him this again

Nik Stauskas @NStauskas11 8m8 minutes ago

Wait what does "Sauce Castillo" mean? Since when was that my nickname lol!! 😂😂
By KumaJG Go To Post Did Hornets really draft Cody Zeller over Noel? Interesting.
Noel still doesn't look likely to LIVE. Zeller's really not bad at all. If he wouldn't willingly accept being Al Jefferson's R2-D2, then he'd be doing a lot more.
I can't pop shit about Noel
1. He still may die on the floor with that frame. Dudes be trying to off him.
2. Hinkie will might trade him for more picks for the bloodgod
3.Tank Karma
4. Sixers.
So I'll just say I am glad to have a player who might be pretty cool.
By KumaJG Go To Post
Brandon Knight was balling this year. Should of a been an all star this year. The Bucks are missing his O and D. He meant more to the team than people realized.
I think it was kinda future move.. with Parker they should look better. Their biggest problem is Mayo on the hook still for 8 mil next year
Impressions of Noel are thus:
He plays hard, especially on defense. He takes every set as a challenge. He's quick. He can operate in offense as a passer. I feel he should make that face up jumper work so he takes less hits, because..
he gets bodied. He gets the ball taken away from him by guards.
So I don't know what to make of him. He's great for the nba nerd fantasy that there will no longer be big, tough big men for guys like Noel to worry about. That's not the reality though. He works crazy hard to defend Cousins, and Cousins still puts up monster games against him. He looks like someone who will put in the work, but I don't know if he'll ever overcome that frame.
I think the Sixers should hold on to him, but I get the feeling you have to be insanely impressive for Hinkie not to trade your ass for a draft pick.
It'd be his if Golden State finished with only the second best record in the league and Houston managed to win the Southwest. Nobody likes him and with the Hawks falling away, the media can simply fall back on 'best player on best team'.
By Diprosalic Go To Post Houston will get the 2 seed and the first round against Dalls. not bad for them.
Going by the next few games, Houston should have it by the end of the weekend. Using the word 'should' means it probably won't happen. I need Mamba to come in here and insist we're going to lose HCA. That seems to do the trick.
By Dreams-Visions Go To Post Did enjoy that work the Cavs did tonight. Definitely rounding into form. First round series will be amazing for this group. Just hope they finish strong. Remaining schedule sets up pretty good.
Fuck the East. Fraud conference full of fraud teams.
(Not angry at you or the Cavs specifically, I'm just coming to terms with the fact that we have to play a damn-near 70-win team in the first round.)

Call me a fool, but I don't think Caseys a terrible coach, I think he's just saddled with a roster where the only starting quality player who can play above average defense has half a functioning ankle. He's no situational play calling genius, but the offence is still elite. I don't want them to can him unless a proven high level coach is coming in to take them to the next level.
i'd be completely fine if John Wall were the only guy from the phonebooth involved with the team next year
sweep everybody else in the gutter and try to move up for mario hanzo
