Westbrook has 64 assists over his last 5 games. fffuuuuuck. He had 27 and 11 through three quarters.
Kanter killing it too. Had a double double through the first quarter yesterday against the D-Fenders.

Last 6 games:
25 and 16
27 and 12
22 and 10
19 and 13
18 and 18
23 and 15
Why are people acting like back to backs are a new thing?
We have better medical advancements, minute management, nutritional information, dudes aren't smoking and drinking or doing coke at halftime.
Good story on Okafor: http://www.si.com/college-basketball/2015/03/24/jahlil-okafor-duke-blue-devils-ncaa-tournament
Should assuage those concerns regarding him just bullying people instead of using skill moves.
And this part: "Because the Blue Devils are the lone college team to install SportVU, the laser-tracking system that has revolutionized NBA statistics, they have richer analytics that reinforce Okafor’s value "
We're the best!
It's great that Duke has SportsVU cameras, but I don't think anything can be inferred from Okafor's SportsVU stats because there's nobody else in college to compare him too.
Like, I know 40% allowed at the rim is great in the NBA because no one has a better mark than that out of all the defenders... But college players suck at making layups so 40% allowed for a college center might be pretty normal.
By knux-future Go To PostOkafor's lack of defense seems to just be laziness rather than lack of ability.
Wouldn't say lazy. Just not a very aware defender. He's late on rotations a lot. Doesn't hedge screens properly, routinely gets pulled out of position to challenge layups. He'll never be David Robinson/Hakeem, but if Cousins can be a plus defender, so can he.
Top PG list:
1. Russell Westbrook - 13 first place votes
2. Stephen Curry - 9 first place votes
3. Chris Paul - 3 first place votes
4. Kyrie Irving
5. Damian Lillard
6. John Wall
7. Mike Conley
8. Kyle Lowry
9. Tony Parker
10. Jeff Teague
11. Derrick Rose
12. Goran Dragic
13. Eric Bledsoe
14. Ty Lawson
15. Rajon Rondo
16. Kemba Walker
17. Ricky Rubio
18. Jrue Holiday
19. Reggie Jackson
20. Deron Williams
21. Bradon Jennings
22. George Hill
23. Darren Collison
24. Brandon Knight(OH)
25. Isaiah Thomas
26. Patrick Beverly
27. D.J. Augustin
28. Jarrett Jack
29. Mo Williams
30. Trey Burke
Most skilled should be somewhere in the top 10, Lillard isn't better than Wall nor should Teague be above Dragic/Bledsoe.
RT @WojYahooNBA: Source: Houston guard Patrick Beverley has a torn ligament in his wrist and next step will be determined after an evaluation in 7-10 days.
Honestly, Paul is that one guy who makes me hate analytics sometimes, because I've hated dudes game since he left the Hornets. Statistically speaking though he's a gawd.
Jennings is definitely better, Reggie is a toss-up as far what type of PG you want.
Thomas doesn't bring much of anything outside of scoring.
I can understand everything else on the list though... not necessarily agree, but I can understand it
Isaiah Thomas is better than like 11 guys in front of him.
Ty Lawson stays up until 2 in the morning doing shots on days before games, Isaiah's teammates not liking his style of play is not nearly as bad as that.
Pretty sure Smush Parker is better than Derrick Rose right now, since, you know, Smush can walk and all.
By DY_nasty Go To PostIs he really though?
Really?
Well, he's probably better, if only slightly. But Trey Burke is really bad.

Because he's tired of coach LeBron making him stand in the corner.
I'm a bit surprised he'd be doing any media when he looks so miserable. I don't know what else the Cavs expected. "Hey are you and LeBron friends?" "I mean, we work together."
What makes you think he wants to go to LA?

Well, he's still a Big name, even if he's having a terrible year. It's not surprising. And he's a FA this summer, he's just making sure people know he's around.
Lowry out indefinitely?
this nigga grunfeld gonna stay catching ways to live forever I guess
By Omzz Go To PostLowry out indefinitely. doesnt sound good
Well at least now they have an excuse for a first-round exit. That's rough, though. Injuries have just been horrible this season. Dwight Howard, Wesley Matthews, Russell Westbrook, Kevin Durant, Derrick Rose, Blake Griffin, Kyle Lowry, Jabari Parker, Julius Randle, Kobe Bryant, Kemba Walker, Brandon Jennings, Paul George (though in the off-season), Carmelo Anthony, Ricky Rubio, Tony Parker, Kevin Martin, and more have all suffered either season-ending injuries or injuries that kept them out for over months. That's just awful.
Dwight has a 16 minute minutes restriction. I'm all for limiting players minutes coming back from injury(fuck thibs) but how healthy is he, really?

Rockets invented it in 1995. They beat a 62, 59 and 60 win team on the way to the Finals as a 6th seed.
