Dwight returning to Orlando form really isn't as big of a stretch as some of the leaps guys like Klay have made. Still not likely, just saying.

Klay has always been good nor does he have BRoy knees.
It's not happening, we just have to sell playoff tickets this season.

Houston is gonna get bopped in the finals then turn to nuclear waste?
Despite the Dwight hate I think they have a good chance to make it to the WCF, barring injury GSW are gonna tap that ass tho.

This except the Warriors bit.

Nah.that player is gone. Same as 2009-13 lebron.

LOL Warriors have beat them down by double digits 4 times this season. McHale is gonna make sure they get piped nice & quick.
Would be hard for the Rockets to avoid the GSW in the 2nd round, it seems. Then again, if they do, it means they probably play LAC in round 1. Another bad options.
Houston's postseason ceiling is probably a comfortable 2nd round loss.

And I've already explained numerous of times why I wouldn't hold too much stock in the season series.

I actually put more weight in their post-season failings and McHale's continued ineptitude...but w/e

Depends on seeding and matchups. The only realistic chance is is having a Dallas 1st(3rd/6th) and then playing Memphis in the 2nd. We could very well be another first round knockout.
By diehard Go To Postwhy do Rockets fans always start talking like they get out of the first round?
do that first.
Those Jazz series still sting to this day, so you earned your right to talk.
Can't wait for lotto night to be honest. You guys can squable over hypothetical playoff match-ups. I just need a top 3 pick.

Don't see Dallas climbing above 7th. LAC have a good chance to catch 3 because of the schedule, but we'll see.
I think it's Hou/Por, Hou/LAC, or Hou/SAS in first round. Obviously, none are easy since the only "easy" team is Dallas.
All I want is another Houston/Portland matchup. I really couldn't care about any other matchup other than maybe SAS/GS.
I'd absolutely love OKC vs GS if Ibaka and KD were healthy though.

meh, without Wesley Mathews not as fun. I think LAC/Hou would be fun, though. Actually, any of the 3-6 would be pretty good, overall.

I think Afflalo can fill his spot, it's taking time though.
Why I really want to it to happen is the salt between Portland and Houston fans on here is too good to pass up. I get giddy thinking about it.
Also, it's really hard to muster any excitement for watching a Clippers or Dallas series. Even though Clippers offense is really great, it's not fun to watch. It's probably the players though, between Griffin,Barnes,CP3 and others....they bitch and moan too much. Dallas? they're just boring.
East playoffs have the potential to be underrated

Rose Bulls vs Wiz
Cavs vs Heat with Whiteside goonery

Not gonna get it.
Because the hornets ain't shit.
It's so easy to spot ex-Heat fans. The easiest way is when they roll in a crew and wear nothing but brand new Warriors jerseys and gear. You just know they wore Heatles jerseys this time last year.

We have GSW and at Portland back-to-back and then have to play at Denver, where we NEVER win. I wouldn't be surprised if we lost all 3 of those. Then we end the season with Memphis, Denver, and Phoenix. We have 4 games left against tanking teams, but I wouldn't exactly call the rest of our schedule easy. Sure we CAN get the 3 seed (or even the 2 seed technically), but I think our likely ceiling is the virtual 4 seed (5 seed with home court advantage over Portland).

But compare that to the other team's schedules. LAC has the easiest West schedule left of playoff teams, I believe.
Knicks, Philly, Boston, 2 x LAL, Denver, and likely a meaningless Phx game (for them).
On the flip side, Houston has Minn, Sac, Cha, and Utah (who is much tougher than other teams). And on the road for the tougher games.
The Spurs have Denver, utah, and Orlando, and everyone else but Phx is a playoff team (if Miami makes it). Their schedule is brutal.
Portland's is probably 2nd easiest of the bunch, but they're struggling too.
Not saying LAC getting 3rd is a lock but I think there's a better than 50/50 chance.
