I put him on ignore after about 5 minutes. Now he's just somebody everybody else talks about who I can't see, like the Great Gazoo.

11, 10 and 11 in 32 minutes on 4-17 shooting with 5 turnovers. Also, they lost to the Sixers.

We had had amazing shooting luck the last two weeks and were obviously going to have a bad shooting luck game eventually... Sorry it had to be the one you bet on.

did have a 20/20 game the other day tho. I'm gonna laugh when he gets offered the same 4/48 from Detroit.
By Zeus Ex Machinaits funny cause I read his post in the Iron Shiek's voice and just change reilo to Hogan in my head. I just need him to call somebody a Jabroni and threaten to "make somebody humble" for it to be perfectoh crap this might actually work. I should take him off Ignore and try this later.

Didn't give up much for him (Singler and Augustin) and we know SVG isn't afraid to walk away from guys who hurt the team.
We know what he's capable of at times, but I'm starting to believe more and more that Kanter was the best player in that trade. 23.1 PER since joining the Thunder, high TS%, insane offensive rebounding... Bad defense, but at least I see effort on that end which means he should improve.
By Royce YoungBrooks described Durant's rehab as "peaks and valleys."Well fuck. That doesn't sound good.
Does anyone have actual figures/charts on numbers of games in a season + backbacks from the beginning of the game till now?

Hey Reilo this is awesome. Two down screens and then a flare screen.
I'm trying to devise a series of offensive plays with 4-5 options in each and wanted a good flare screen option. I'm impressed.

Yah the Blazers variation of FLOW offense is very pretty. The amount of movement and the fact they know how to run it/where everyone needs to be is seamless.

I'm impressed at the multiple down screens before the flare screen, as well as that last sequence, which is a seemless counter option if Matthews is denied the initial catch, they go into a reverse flare screen with the opposite big going to the opposite side and the pass is made from the pinch post instead of the top.
That's a Pop kind of sophistication.
And the result of all that action is that there's no PnR needed. Literally no one needs to even dribble as soon as the Sequence initiates. It's all just passing and cutting.

Yea, Stotts has offensive genius capabilities. His out-of-timeout plays are astounding. It's not all that surprising considering Stotts was responsible for the offense during the Mavs' 2011 run. What is surprising is that he's turned this team into a Top-5 defensive team.

I guess I see them isolate Aldridge and Lillard and PNR so often that I don't really see them as a team that executes like this. Which is my mistake. This is one of the best flare screen options I've seen.
My only complaint, and it's minor, is that they don't have a built in 2nd and 3rd option if Wes is taken away. If the defense defends it, you basically reset with either a Batum or Lillard PnR.
Someone coming over and screening the screener to open up a cut to the basket would be a nice wrinkle.
So when Brown says that Calipari's Wildcats, who are 34-0 entering NCAA tournament play and have won by an average of 20.9 points per game, are good enough to be an NBA playoff team, one takes notice.
"I don't want to put pressure on John," Brown said Wednesday. "I feel real close to him. I'm so proud of what he's done. I think they'd honestly make the playoffs in the Eastern Conference if they were in the NBA."
Dementia is one helluva drug.
@anthonyVslater: News on Kevin Durant today concerning. Soreness/foot issues just continue to linger. Doing less court work than this time last week.
damn...
damn...
By reiloJones fractures aren't a fucking joke man. He shouldn't have been back at least until January.
Yeah, based on everything I've read any sane doctors would be telling him to give it a rest this season. Don't fuck around with feet when you're that size and you put that much repeated stress on them.
Wouldn't be the biggest loss if he had to shut it down for the season, as I really don't like our odds of getting past the Dubs even if we *do* make the playoffs. Climbing above the 8 seed is almost impossible at this point.
Really hope the issue doesn't linger further into his career.

I specifically posted here that they should not rush Durant back and he should probably go past the timeline. There was just no real upside to bringing him back early. Sigh.
The Westbrook injury fucked the management/coaches bad because they got so far behind in the race they rushed him back. Now they're paying the price. They better not have fucking Grant Hill'd his career.
Penny and Hill to Rose and Durant. Don't let it be...
Yea - everyone was shocked he came back as early as he did.
If Durant has lingering issues - Presti should be fired immediately. How do you NOT play this thing conservatively?

because there are signs presti job is sort of on the line. I mean every season we see coaches play guys into the ground to improve their chances of keeping their jobs....yeah it was usually D'antoni doing it but its still not unheard of

I swear I still think Kobe's Achilles is on him. I know it's probably technically not. But he had him averaging like 43 minutes a game for the last 10 leading up to it including multiple games where he didn't get any rest.
Just like 3 games till the end of the season. Kobe rests over summer. It never ruptures. Dammit.
I'm sure the decision to bring him back was a joint one between Brooks, Presti, team docs, KD and KD's advisors. Nobody's job is on the line because of this.
Today's news was definitely disconcerting though. He sounded almost ready to come back last week and now he's having "soreness" again. Sigh.

All of them should be fired. KD is a player, he wants to play and help his team. Everyone else should GTFO if this causes lasting issues at all IMO

Oden and Durant's careers being ended early due to injuries would break my fucking heart. At least Durant had an epic 7-year run, but he should have another 10 years in him if he stays healthy. Don't fuck this up OKC.

I get that he's a franchise cornerstone, but he looked fine until he turned his ankle (in fact, he scored 30 points in a half against GSW) and he's had various nagging issues since. Even the most recent surgery was precautionary to try to make sure he doesn't have any further issues.
He won't be back until he's 100%.
I sure seem to remember a lot of people saying that there was something worrying about the way OKC was rushing Durant back. Let's please stop this revisionist history as though nobody could have foreseen these consequences.

If they fined star guards for flopping James Harden wouldn't just look homeless.
I do sorta love how being fined for flopping is the NBA saying you're never going to be a star in the league.

OKC's medical process, what ever it is, appears to be just as shady as Chicago's. And we know for a fact that Chicago's doctors just say what ever the FO pay them to say. There's no medical facts to it at all.
Bringing YNB back early twice last year, and once this year. Messing around with KD's feet. Whatever Ibaka's on going knee issues are.
Those are your "Big" 3. The cornerstones. And who ever is in charge of the medical process is just fucking around with them for their own sake.
