Tell me why I shouldn't put down $100 on Utah -3 over Washington tonight.
The only reason to be skeptical is that we're not as good as we've played recently. Opponents are shooting like 18% from three against the Jazz in the last 13 games.
But it's pretty obvious anyway that we're not one of the best teams in the league (yet). We play super slow paced basketball and Trey Burke (who varies between looking like an NBA player and looking like a future Chinese bench player pretty wildly) has high USG% so our games could get kind of random as well.
But I'd bet on us if you could. We're better than the Wizards.

Any ball out-of-bounds in a team's frontcourt or at the midcourt line cannot be passed into the backcourt. On all backcourt and midcourt violations, the ball shall be awarded to the opposing team at the midcourt line, and must be passed into the frontcourt.
EXCEPTION: During the last two minutes of the fourth period and/or any overtime period, the ball may be passed anywhere (frontcourt or backcourt) on the court.
doesn't really say anything about possession but I'd assume you need it to make an over and back call since the above rule obviously wasn't what was called.
