Fuck Clifford.
By KumaJGWhy Noah Vonleh not getting any playing time?!Because Charlotte has no idea what they're doing when it comes to drafting. Even when they get a decent player, they're clueless on how to use him.

Look at the roster and at least half of that were full of floppers.

Even put Marvin Williams in before him is kinda of foolish. I was high on Vonleh in the draft. Hell the Celtics should draft him or Julius Randle. I like Marcus Smart, but the dude don't drive the ball or shoot midranges I can't have that from my point guards.
By VahagnAnd, Jazz Age. Fish was part of the best post season run you've had since Malone and Stockton and he left for his daughters well being. Show some damn class and stop playing the part of the most morally deplorable fan base In the league.
I know it's you, and you're about as aware and half as smart as a jar of mayonnaise, but you've got to be kidding me if you still believe that Fisher was motivated to hop around teams for his daughter's sake.

or is it possible that fisher decided to ditch the Jazz because he felt the best doctor's were in fact in la AND wanted to win titles with kobe?
maybe he had two motivations, and not just one with the way jazz fans are painting him to have.
perish the thought that Fisher chose a win/win situation for both his daughter and his career.
oh, the manatee.
Fisher left a team that made Western Conference Finals to join one coming off two consecutive 1st round exits because he was shamelessly chasing championships.
Morally deplorable because you guys have a seething hate, even a decade later for a role player that you had on the team for like one year whose daughter objectively had eye cancer because he left.

By unknownSpurs most likely repeat, they are prob trollin on the low.If the Dubs stay healthy I don't see how they aren't favorites.
Fisher was joining a team that was just bounced out of the first round in 5 games the previous season. That team also only won 42 games.
He wasn't coming to LA to win titles. The Lakers made no big acquisitions in the offseason. Kobe had demanded a trade...

I think it's no secret that Love doesn't like it in Cleveland. Not sure if that means he leaves, but he's basically been turned into Ryan Anderson.

I think he's a scumbag that used his daughter and family as an excuse to go win more games in the NBA, yes. He did the same thing in Dallas too. At least with Houston he just came out and admitted that he wanted to try and win another championship. The excuse finally ran a bit too thin.
Didn't he also screw over the Lakers to some degree? He signed an extension and was expected to move to the backup PG role but started crying about it immediately which caused the trade to Houston in the first place, right? From what I understand he was cool with the move to the bench until the ink was dry on the contract and then he starts speaking up and causing issues.
Cool guy.

Explain how he expected to win more games in LA than Utah? This makes no fucking sense.
Nothing you've said is accurate.
For the last time - when you leave a team to chase championships, you go to a better team. Not a worse one.
Jamison joined the Lakers after Dwight and Nash to chase chips. He then left LA to join the Clippers, to chase chips.
Fisher left an objectively better team for an objectively worse one. Stop revising history, and let it go.
No one in LA treats Jamison like shit just because he went to the Clippers.

By OmegaNot sure what he expected being on a team with LeBron and Kyrie.I can't imagine he envisioned himself in July as a spot up shooter and getting benched for Tristan Thompson in the fourth quarter.
Even when we found out about the trade everyone besides him apparently knew this would be his role.
I hate the Lakers, but my desire to see Kevin Love doing him again is too strong for me to root against this.

In the case of Utah I think it was more about being a bench player, but obviously he knows that LA is going to reload better than Utah, and nobody expected Utah to play for the title in the coming year or two. A down LA team is far closer to a championship than a very up Utah team. Always.

Would rather Love go to NY really unless he can bring another player or two.
Which team needs a center that gives up at least as much as he scores? Kevin Love would be a perfect fit.

It was about his daughter dude. It wasn't about the bench and it wasn't about winning chips. That was the summer Kobe demanded a trade. Pau wasn't there yet. We were a treadmill team by all indications till the season started and we realized how much better everyone had gotten. Lakers were the 1st seed in the West in mid January like a month before Pau got there and Right before Bynum got injured.
Kobe got MVP for taking a 7th seed to a 1st seed. If you think Fisher was clairvoyant you're kidding yourself. He joined LA over NY for obvious reasons. Just like Matt Harpring would rather play for Utah than Milwaukee.
But he didn't ditch Utah to chase chips. Give the guy even a little benefit of the doubt given his daughters condition.
Does the cap go up massively next season? Or the season after?
If Phil can somehow get Love and Gasol - the Triangle would run like an oiled machine. 3 Post threats, all 3 who can shoot playing interchangeable parts?
Can he sign two max players, make their first year pay low enough to fit the current cap, then jump up when the new cap comes in? I'm not too familiar with the CBA and it's guidelines.

By MorisWould rather Love go to NY really unless he can bring another player or two.His fit in New York would be terrible and I don't know why he'd want to play with Melo. And selfishly, I don't want to watch him marginalized again.
Since the Lakers are going to be adding Randle and another top lottery pick, they should just say okay if Kevin Love wants to join up. Dude was one of the top players in the league when he was healthy on the Wolves.

How is an offense that seemlessly gives you post options, pick and roll options, and jump shooting options terrible for Kevin love? That's basically the entirety of his skill set, and he can use what he wants when he wants.

How old is Kevin Love? Maybe he's getting to where it's best that he doesn't try to be a centerpiece anymore. Here's a scary thought: his defense is going to get worse as he continues to age.
You couldn't pay me to take on a post cap raise max'd Love.
You should do anything you can to avoid having cap raised salaries on your roster for as long as you can. Teams that blew their load prior to 2016 are going to have a financial advantage...a huge one that may not balance out for 3 or 4 seasons if they've been smart.

He was pretty amazing offensively as a center piece in Minnesota but is a stretch 4 in cleveland.
A lot of it might actually be injury over fit. Fit had nothing to do with Love taking asshole threes back in Sota. He can still take those shots if he wants--shit, JR is taking them and we know Waiters was too. And he looks miserable in the post this year.
Yall saw what happened to Dwight once his back went...

Both the Nets and Knicks showed interest in Fisher, and NY is where his daughter was getting treatment.
He wanted to go back to Phil Jackson's bosom.
What he did to the Mavs was disgraceful.
Why anyone would defend this dude just because he played for their team is stupid. Do you see me defending Malone's off the court stupidity?
