By flinbad the flailer Go To PostMeanwhile, transfer deadline at Napoli saw us purchase a 25-year-old striker from Chievo, who earned approximately 2000 minutes last season on 22 starts and averaged a goal every 200+ minutes; then we lent that 25-year-old striker back to Chievo to develop.Napoli might not have signed Berardi, but at least we got this brilliant nugget out of it.
Così raggiunse il fratello a Modena e andò al Sassuolo”.As a young lad, he faked being sick so he could skip trying out for Napoli, because he didn't feel up to it.
This is the most Berardi story ever, lol.

By Francis Go To PostInteresting to see just how long United can continue with these vast spending sprees without resorting to selling players in order to free up further funds. As long as the money keeps rolling in?
Chelsea are incredible. £110,9 million? Whew.
I guess that's one perk of having 60 players out on loan.
We don't need to sell to finance our buys.
By n8 dogg Go To PostAs of 11:30 with some still to be confirmed (including Zappa I think)Damn we just put the pressure on in the window. So close

By Vivalapizza Go To PostAs long as the money keeps rolling in?Well, I guess you're right. Suppose it has more to do with whether the Glazers' remain willing of opening up their chequebooks.
We don't need to sell to finance our buys.
And you know… there's not really been any indication of them not wanting to do that.
currently doing 3k calories + a day, closer to 3500, first few days were miserable force feeding but now the force feeding is easier, sort of a mental barrier, first times I did it I was constantly thinking, dont wanna throw up, but now I know I wont it goes down pretty easy. 170g of protein 3500 calories, big man ting.

Glazers don't need to open their checkbooks. Your guy's revenue is insane.
Between TV money, match day money, commercial deals, CL money you have more than enough.

By Frustrated_me Go To PostRonaldo with as many goals as Pele in international games.. What a legend, this board goes hard on the Ronaldo hate train but the man is incredible. I'm so happy I get to watch him play every week, it's going to be really tough when his time is up :(are you fucking serious. Everyone here knows what a great player he is. We make fun of him because
a) he anally raped a woman.
b) he can be a whiny cunt on the field.
Wow yeah we should really fall in and treat him like a god despite both of this
By Francis Go To PostWell, I guess you're right. Suppose it has more to do with whether the Glazers' remain willing of opening up their chequebooks. It's true they could always turn around and say no more spending. But we pay them a £15m dividend every year and for now their asset is appreciating in value.
And you know… there's not really been any indication of them not wanting to do that.
We aren't in a position to go and do what PSG just did. If City got Sanchez that would have been £300m for the window...not sure we can do that either.
But £150m is manageable.
By Zabojnik Go To PostHonest answer is I have no idea, just riding the wave, got a personal trainer, lost a tonne of weight because of kidney issues this year so gaining back while getting back into football + 3x a week at the gym.
Such passion. #KroenkeOut

"We need and we don't need," Mourinho told a news conference. "We don't need because Manchester United's history is so big and Manchester United is so much bigger than many other clubs that are playing Champions League that if Manchester United do not play Champions League for four years that doesn't affect the prestige, the dimension and history of the club.
and that's without CL. With CL we are pretty much ok to spend around... 300-400 million?

5-year contract.
By Oddinho Go To PostI'm not entirely displeased with the window. Could have been better, could have been much much worse.Yep
Feared after the vvd and Keita deals died that we'd end up losing Coutinho and replacing him with a load of shite
Helps that we've played well the last two matches so I've deluded myself into thinking our midfield is legit :P
We were never gonna get a great keeper, cb, lb, cm and forward in the same window, but hoped we'd get a better cm and lb than we have done
Keeping Henderson fit and/or Can on form becomes a massive focus now. When Henderson is fit and firing, he's easily good enough to be our DM. When he's not, he's a weak link.
Curious what's Sampaoli will do with his third sub. Does he wait a little longer and hope they score then use Masche to close up shop or get an attacker on soon?
