£25m that is mad, that's 8m more than we paid. We'd be crazy not to sell him for that price.
No news on Sissoko leaving though :(
By LTWheels Go To PostFingers crossed for VVD todayAint going to happen. Neither will Lemar.
Fuming.
Next season it is.

Who do you suppose was in the club van yesterday being picked up from the airport?
I think it's possible it's VVD and the deal is being kept quiet due to the obvious complications surrounding it.

The mainstream media would have you believe the window slammed shut today, but there were very good people on both sides of that window, and they closed it peacefully, and with great respect for the American people.

By Marston Go To PostChelsea have been so lethargic. Not like them at all.
Again, a reminder that Luiz was a panic buy and Alonso only came at this point too. Conte will get the best out of whatever comes.
By JesalR Go To PostChelsea learned nothing from the Lukaku transfer.
Literally lads VVD ain't happening. Maybe January or something.
I'll get a liver bird tattoo if VVD joins Liverpool today

By Cleff Go To PostChelsea learned nothing from the Lukaku transfer.Much like Pogba recruiting Lukaku, Conte can likely be what decides things with Llorente.
Swans accepted Spurs bid, but that doesn't mean the player will agree which is exactly the opposite of what happened with Lukaku. But you knew that.

We have been lethargic the last few windows.
2 seasons ago we had signed Baba Rahman and Pedro but we were chasing Pogba and Stones all summer. Ended up signing Papy Djilibodji and Hector on the final day.
At this point last season we had signed Kante and Batshauyi but left it right until the last day to get Luiz and Alonso.
IIRC we were desperate for a CB and we were extremely lucky that Luiz really wanted to come back to Chelsea, he went to the PSG president himself to push through the move and literally saved us on the final day. What a guy.
We were also lucky that Alonso turned out to be a lot better than most people expected.
Evans flying to San Marino with NI squad. Deal either done on the quiet or not happening. Been training at CFA so could be done. Maybe. Hopefully. Aw shit we're so thin at the back.
Some Swedish guy on Twitter claiming Sanchez flew to Manchester yesterday for a medical. Even I'm not willing to believe something that ridiculous

Fucking hell, the wife is at work at some random shopping center, just filling in for someone who's sick. Fire alarm went off, and the whole place filled up with smoke, thick enough that you couldn't see properly. She had to help some terrified old lady with a stroller evacuate, a bunch of kids started crying, and everyone ran for the exits. They get outside, stand around for a few minutes, then some wanker from security comes out and says it was an unscheduled fire drill. Apparently, they'd just purchased smoke machines to more accurately simulate the evacuation process. Because that's what you want to do at a shopping center in the middle of the day that's full of senior citizens and small children. I'd never go back there.

Think he'll be told to knuckle down and play and leave next summer. Like Schniderlin. But suppose he could refuse and get his wages docked every week.

13 weeks throughout the year, can't complain too much!
Bournemouth are apparently serious about Damari Gray. I can't imagine they're willing to let him go if they're losing Mahrez though.
Everton unloading Niasse on Palace.

Been sleeping on the math and something just doesn't add up.
We have a wage cap, but Sanchez is on what 140? Ozil same? and Dave confirmed we offered Ox 180k how do we only have the rumoured 120k salary space?

I dono there are one or two people on twitter who have been right about all the Liverpool stuff all summer, going far back to March. Even the squad numbers of the new players before they have signed. Even further back to Rodgers sacking.
Maybe wishful thinking, but with how correct they are been, unless there is a turnaround today, i wouldn't be surprised if it does happen.
Mangoverboard, that twitter source might actually arrive from Sportbladet, the biggest sport news outlet in Sweden, who claim they have a source claiming Sanchez is doing a medical in Manchester today. They can spew some shit sometimes but if they really claim to have a personal source and post it I would incline to think there is something there.
They have even published their article in English the bastards (probably to get more clicks)

I think Sanchez going to Manchester is a given.
What's not is how the deal is going to be, and if it's just money if Arsenal will (or can) spend it in 24 hours.

Everyone makes mistakes, I've played and watched enough football to accept that.
There are so many instances where I can remember seeing him watching live getting infuriated.
