The Inside Anfield video on YouTube of the game on Sunday is great, if only for Ozil wandering round the Anfield tunnel after the game clutching a Liverpool shirt looking like he has no idea wtf just happened.
We've been trying to sell Perez all summer don't think its that we don't want to but we overpaid for him and no club abroad will want to pay PL wages so you can't shift them.
Think Pool desperately need that CB. Looked great against Arse but that's a team in disarray and crucially, a big club. Pool looked a lot shakier against Watford and Palace.
Galatasaray fans seem obsessed with signing Asamoah for some reason.
He ain't coming m8s, unless Spinazzola somehow convinces Atalanta to let him come back to Juve in the next ~24h. Small chance.

Please tell me he has been misquoted. Fuckin' hell if not (did not see horse post this, apologies if our Arsenal Wba man has done it already)
“I spoke to him and have always been impressed by him and how he goes about his work,” Gibbs said of Pulis.
“He’s different to what I’ve had before and I feel he can develop me in certain areas I maybe need to work on.
“He can help me progress.”

That won't happen, of course - but it would be the sensible thing to do.

I don't see what is so shocking about this.
Pulis is known for defense. Wenger isn't. Gibbs is a defender.
okay, deep breaths.
Wedward, I'm just tired of seeing sideways move after sideways move for a team that needs actual reinforcements to improve. This team is not good enough. For whatever reason, this team has never been good enough against the top teams since Fabregas left as we've watched them get hammered by anything remotely resembling a good team again and again and again. Those Fabregas teams didn't even have good defenses! And yet you didn't expect they'd lose 4-0 every time they faced a remotely good team. I genuinely have no idea why this incarnation of the team is so terrible and fold every single time, but here we are.
And I fucking hate losing to Liverpool.
I'd rather just blow it up and start over again than continue to watch Wenger's indecision as he runs back a failed team for yet another go. Just blow it up. Tank for a lottery pick. But of course, you can't blow up a team when you're working on a two-year timetable.

Blud.
Overall I'm quite happy with the business United have done during this transfer window. One of the best strikers in the league and a PL proven defensive midfielder, both of whom have made positive impacts already. Will reserve judgement on Lindelof.
Full back and right wing are the only areas that need improving now. We lack a pacey threat down that flank. Mata has the skills but not the speed. Lingard has the speed but impacts games very little. Left back may be sorted if Shaw can hit the ground running.

I agree with all of this.
But blowing it up and watching Wenger ruin the kids over the next two seasons would leave us in deep shit when a new manager comes in.
I need to take a break from this. It's pointless getting worked up about because not only can we not do anything about it, nobody gives a shit what the fans think. It is really sad to see the club behave like this.

In our first team (the one that's started this year) we need upgrades on Blind and Jones for sure, well as the latter especially have started. Hopefully that's Shaw and Lindelof, but I'm pessimistic.
We definitely need an option on the wings that crosses because every single one we have looks to cut in or run into the box before dinking one over Lukaku's head. And Valencia can't fucking cross.
Can we just use the PES default master league players this year? Dodo, Castolo and Ximelez would walk into our squad.

I said like one two weeks ago that our transfer window was looking like a proper catastrophe.
I did not expect it to be this bad. We have to be the worst run/managed "big" club in europe.
Hope the fans that goes to the stadium do something about it like proper boicott the games. Who am i kidding, they were signing "theres only one Wenger" at the skysports painel after the Lester game.

Hopefully that's Shaw and Lindelof, but I'm pessimistic.I'd give Jones a chance. There looks to be some genuine improvement in his game. It's a shame he has picked up an injury. Hopefully Rojo can recover his pre-injury form upon his return. He's another one who improved under Mourinho's coaching. In the long term we need another quality CB. Hopefully Lindelof will be that.

As for wingers, I think Martial can be a decent crosser. Put in a peach against Leicester which Pogba really should've scored. For now I'm just happy that Rashford and Martial are getting a chance and seem to be thriving in the competition. Early doors though. I agree with you that we need someone to cross from the byline rather than cutting in.

ok, then don't worry about it.
I can't understand why Ox wasn't giving a run of games in the middle ahead of Ozil. He was bought as a CAM, but was played out of position for 5 years. Why not give him the opportunity when Mesut can't be bothered? The hardest thing to accept when it comes to Arsenal Football Club is the baffling decisions made on the pitch. Bellerin at LWB; Kolasinic and Lacazette on the bench are only this season's story.
Remember Arshavin? A No.10, forced to play out wide, and then constantly ridiculed in the press and by fans because he wasn't any good at tracking back to defend.
Ramsey is a No.10, but he is constantly played out of position, as well. What must he be thinking?

I don't expect we'll be challenging for the title without VVD
Lemar seems like he'd be a bit of a luxury signing, or a replacement one anyway
Maybe I'm just subconsciously lowering my expectations though

It's no longer a question of who goes and who stays. Nothing will change.
Ox doesn't even belong in the same sentence as Arshavin. Arshavin has probably scored more goals against Liverpool than Ox has scored in his entire Arsenal career
