West Brom in for Krychowiak? According to Scum's round up. Hopefully we buy Evans and hijack that deal.
How long ago did he break his arm? He's got be weeks away before actually being up to speed to play.
It's as if you have no idea what your squad looks like or think you're playing a videogame.

Well that means his off to Liverpool then because Wenger said the Lemar deal was dead and Monaco would never sell him.

Pretty much everyone's motto for the transfer window.
Even by Tottenham standards things are exceptionally quiet, we don't seem to be doing anything except waiting for Aurier's work permit. I can't endure another season of Sissoko as our match-changing substitute.
Looking at our squad (I don't expect the players in brackets to see any serious time on the pitch)
GK: Courtois, Cabellero, (Eduardo)
CB: Luiz, Dave, Cahill, Christensen, Rudiger, (Tomori)
WB: Alonso, Moses
CM: Fabregas, Bakayoko, Kante
AM: Hazard, Pedro, Willian, (Musonda)
ST: Morata, Batshauyi
Clearly the weakest area we need to address the wing back position. Dave and Pedro can fill in but its not ideal. At least one more player is desperately needed.
Striker is a bit of a worry as Batshauyi is not very good. Morata has started well, he has got goals and assists but hasn't looked quite on the same wavelength as the other players yet. Llorente can do a job but I would prefer we spent big in that position.
We need at least one more in central midfield. Drinkwater seems like a decent enough 4th choice to me.
Attacking midfielder is also lacking as we saw that at the start of the season when we had to play Boga because Hazard and Pedro were both out. Would love to get Mahrez.
If we don't get at 4 players in during the next few days we are going to really struggle this season when the fixtures start pilling up.

Can't believe how little noise there has been around us signing an attacking player who isn't Ross Barkley, and so isn't injured for the next few months.
By Plasma Go To PostLooks like some of our fans smashed in the club shop window last night.
I can't imagine anything worse than working for AFC retail at the moment. The poor shop assistants there (likely on minimum wage) are pretty much the only club employees the angry mob can have a face to face interaction with. Must be bloody awful every day, never mind having the shop vandalised.

Levy will probably do his usual thing of waiting till deadline day to scrounge around. Expect panic bids for Max Meyer, Mahrez, Draxler etc.
I still think we're a player or two short from where we need to be this season but man I am glad we aren't invocled in this hot mess.
Manchester United have started the season with at least three consecutive clean sheets in the Premier League era for three times, and they have not won the title in any of those seasons.
By Oddinho Go To PostLemar or Oxlaide Chamberlain? How is that even a real choice? And I even like Ox.Maybe it's Lemar in and Coutinho can go
Ox as an alternative but then Coutinho must stay

Good for Pulis, the league and Krychowiak if that's what he wants. He'll play a ton for West Brom.
Bizarre that other clubs weren't alerted to his availability unless there's something about him to turn clubs off.

Wasn't he absolutely terrible for PSG?
By Ushojax Go To PostWasn't he absolutely terrible for PSG?Did he play? I feel like he was always on the injury list. He was pretty good for Sevilla during their Europa runs. I think he can be a good player for the league.

There's a massive middle ground between the two, you'd think clubs like Liverpool, Arsenal, a return to Sevilla etc would be interested
That's what I'm saying. Is there something we don't know about him to turn clubs away?
He's the same age as £40m rated Danny Drinkwater. I don't know...

Take note Roma. Simple, effective, memeless.

Meanwhile Passlack extended his contract and gonna be loaned to Hoffenheim for two years.

Absolutely. Why not? The club have ridiculous money and I will never have any say in transfer business. Why not daydream and post wistful thoughts? Technically, the club could pull off any individual transfer it wanted. So I'll talk about any transfer I want.
And Krychowiak fits the team and we need a CM. We're not supposed to be buying one till next summer but if he's going for as cheap as it's been reported, I'd like to have him.
Is it a stretch to say Gayle is the best player in the Championship when he's in it?

Its a common fantasy football mistake to take a punt on players who score loads in the championship because they rarely make the step up.

Obviously ScoutNation videos are a daft way to judge players, but fuck me Keita looks gifted
edit: we're actually going to sign Ox instead of Lemar
Would be great if we could get a Keita-type deal going with Lemar if we can't make the books work and sign him this year, and keep Coutinho for the year, but that ain't happening.

£30m plus for Ox is disrespectful to soldiers and nurses, all of whom are precisely as talented at football.
