I don't think Barca will miss Neymar that much to be honest. People forget that there was a period last season where he scored 1 goal in 3 months. He's an amazing player but they have amazing players in general. Whoever they bring in to replace him will put up big numbers just by being paired with Messi and Suarez.
By Meier Go To PostIt is actually £200 million but it is just crazy how the world record has just more than doubled in a year.
Incredible to see it smashed so significantly.
By Meier Go To PostIs it even a transfer though as PSG didn't pay for it lol.

By Willkiller Go To PostIn 4 years? Who knows. But in 4 years there will be players near or at his ability now, and you best believe Barcelona will have the financial pull to be able to get them. You best believe other clubs will have the financial pull also, it's not a pretty scene for Barca. However, that being said, they now have 220m so yeah.

By Laboured Go To PostCan't believe PSG have managed to pull that off.Passion and desire and hunger.
Don't know how they do it.
Barrels and barrels of oil had nothing to do with it at all.
By Laboured Go To PostCan't believe PSG have managed to pull that off.Stunning coup to say the least. Obviously not above board by any means but smoke em if ya got em so to speak.

By Laboured Go To PostCan't believe PSG have managed to pull that off.A few years of courting Neymar innit. It's not like it was an impulsive thing for both parties.

Nobody is replacing Messi one-to-one. Neymar, Dybala, Dembele, whatever. Messi's decline will be Barca's decline, and they'll need a proper shake-up when it happens. Neymar would have made that smoother, but they'd have still required a lot of changes imo. His departure is a complication, one that can be worked around and possibly turned to their advantage.
Have very little faith in them recruiting the right players between now and September though.

By FlutterPuffs Go To PostBarca will become Roma.Messi has loads of medals tho
As Messi will be another Totti.
By Laboured Go To Post:|What will be curious is if UEFA does punish them for FFP again and say kicks them out of the UCL for a year or two or something.. what happens next? Does he take his ball and go home? What would it cost to sign him away at that point? Interesting stuff.

They won't do anything as it won't appear on PGSs books.
As I said above, its not even a transfer form Barca to PSG as PSG the club didn't pay the release clause.
incredible how in 1 transfer window we had Ronaldoback, Luback, Lacazette, Alexis, and then Neymar to PSG
By Hitch Go To PostMourinho should have benched him from the start, you were already well out of the running for the title and on the back foot for top 4 (iirc) when he dropped him
Honestly think Mourinho is a big enough personality that he shouldn't have played the 'give him enough rope, keep the media happy' game. The results would have spoken for themselves.
nah mourinho would've been crucified for not even giving him a chance.
By Laboured Go To PostMain thing is that I now actually think Qatar is a pretty great country and in no way bad.
4 part video from Neymar. Claims he's gone against his father's wishes by doing this -- LOL!
By DBT85 Go To PostThey won't do anything as it won't appear on PGSs books.UEFA doesn't just study the club's accounting but all related expenses. Even if the Qatari government paid it instead or whatever goofiness they did, they will be required to have the money available to have made the purchase to remain FFP compliant.

I now have to refer to Neymar as a unit of measurement. For instance, the 85,000 seater Wembley Stadium costs approximately 3 Neymars.
Everything about Neymar is a bit unsavoury if you know what I mean
His dad, his antics on the pitch, the marketing machine, the transfer to Barca, and now the transfer to PSG
Give me Kuyt anyday ¬¬

Eh, I like Neymar. He's a great player, and he spends too much time on CSGO.

By Mushroom Go To PostSo is Qatar using football to launder dirty money? They're just having fun. Smoke them if you got them I believe is what was just mentioned.

Of course not, but if your question relates to their situation in 4 years time and who will be the "heir to the throne" then, then my response is who the fuck knows. We've just seen the transfer record absolutely smashed, and 4 years ago people were saying Neymar would never do it in Europe because he'd only done it in Brazil....but here we are.
Season starts tomorrow, lads.
In 24 hours time I will be sat in the North East Corner of the SoL kicking the chair infront wondering why I got excited as Derby notch their third.
