The thing that really grinds my bones about Arsenal is the lack of obvious planning. We have 4 first team players who are either on the last year of their contracts or retiring. Several who at the end of this season will be down to their last year with no efforts to renew. Our best CB has a fucked achilles and now Mustafi is also available after selling Gabriel. We're depending on Ramsey and Wilshere (lol) to remain fit this season as cover in in midfield. This is before even getting to the fact that many of the players are simply not good enough or are being played out of position.
What further compounds it is that we committed to 2 years of this bullshit by giving Wenger that deal. Top 4 isn't even a realistic goal for me, not going to get my hopes up.
I was genuinely shocked when I felt there was a sense of optimism around arsenal fans, I wasnt sure why, I think teams feel sorry for us which is probably even more embarrassing.
Accept it, resign to our fate, and enjoy your football this season mate.

Former Olympic and Commonwealth Games medallist Jack Bobridge has been charged with drug dealing as part of an ongoing operation targeting licensed venues in Perth.
Bobridge was arrested on Wednesday after police executed search warrants at his home in the northern suburb of Yokine, as well as a North Perth business.
"The investigation led detectives to charge the 28-year-old man with two counts of sell and supply a trafficable quantity of MDMA and three counts of sell and supply MDMA," police said in a statement.
Bobridge later appeared in the Perth Magistrates Court on Thursday to face six charges.
He was granted bail and is due to reappear in court next month.

The real winners here are Dortmund, even if he's super successful it won't be immediately I don't think. That's a massive return on investment for them. Kos was far more reliable. Both Mertersacker and Holding looked better when they played.
I'd have no problem selling him if it were June and we had a replacement lined up. But to sell Gabriel and Mustafi and not bring someone in is dumb as hell, but also classic Wenger.
