By Pennywise Go To PostGerman league might take a break from VAR for a while, after tech wasn't working properly last weekend.Damn I was hoping it would succeed there so PL would implement it.
By Hitch Go To PostOur defending is beyond beliefDefending is easy, who needs it.
There's nothing to it
Oh my. Think Mane had a better shot on his left.
By batong Go To PostDefending is easy, who needs it.The NFL in America agree.
By Hitch Go To PostOur defending is beyond beliefBetter pray hard for VVD because the latest suggests Klopp is sticking with what he's got if he can't get him.
There's nothing to it
Which is a dumb strategy, if you ask me. Losing out on your 1st choice target blows but it doesn't mean the position shouldn't be filled.
I think - overall - you'd be fine with what you've already got but there will inevitably come games where your current defence will cost you due to that vacuum.
By Hitch Go To PostOur defending is beyond beliefDon't worry, theirs is worse.
There's nothing to it
By GQman2121 Go To PostOh my. Think Mane had a better shot on his left.Nah, he tends to drag them
Strange technique by Can though, was like he'd run past the ball before he took the shot
And there's no update on Sakho's situation at all? They're holding firm on £25-30m price and he's not training with the first team?
By Scum Go To PostPlenty of time for Can ruin it though, inky m8.were we ever so lucky
By Barzul Go To PostDamn I was hoping it would succeed there so PL would implement it.Just for a while, until they're sure the technical problems are solved.
The VAR central is in Cologne and they couldn't connect to the ref in one game. Also had issues with other games, but it was working sometimes at least D:
They did some more testing on Monday and still had issues. Weird stuff, since they didn't have any major problems when they did it last season without actually influencing the game and just testing it.

We're probably hoping that when it gets to the last few days of the window, a bottom half PL club will look at his performances for Palace and the amount of time left to make a signing, and spend £30m on him
If he plays for his new club as well as he did for Palace, I think he'd provide a huge boost in their chances of staying up. Would be a very good signing for a West Ham, Stoke, West Brom, Newcastle, teams like that who are generally decent, but go through pretty long phases of looking like relegation candidates.
Problem is we don't have a huge amount of bargaining power until the buyer is desperate, since everyone knows we want rid.
By Hitch Go To PostWest Brom interested supposedlyI see. Maybe it's West Brom if City eventually pickup Evans.

By Pennywise Go To PostJust for a while, until they're sure the technical problems are solved. That is indeed weird. I didn't know the VAR was being reviewed at a central location and figured it would be setup in each stadium but that's probably cost prohibitive for the league so centralizing makes sense.

By Hitch Go To PostI don't know why I put Newcastle in thereI thought Newcastle would spend a lot this window with Benitez back in PL. They've been relatively quiet.
They haven't been a decent PL team since like 2013
By Barzul Go To PostI thought Newcastle would spend a lot this window with Benitez back in PL. They've been relatively quiet. If they weren't owned by Mike Ashley, they probably would have.

By OneTwoTee Go To PostOnly play Gini for home games.
Big home games.
By batong Go To PostIs the new Uncharted game worth picking up. Only six hours, right (but also not full price)?Just get Hitch's copy of him when he's done playing it or get Freewilly to nick a copy from Sainsbury's for you.
By Hitch Go To PostHoffenheim's assistant looks a lot like Danny Murphy
Has he made a comment about Pogba's physical attributes yet?

Sandro Wagner has offered zilch, in both legs. Not even during set pieces.
6'4 and he can't even win a header.

Is there something up with Gnabry's stamina?
Been subbed pretty early in both ties despite playing quite well
