Everyone talked about how bad he was out of possession but we had something like 77% possession in the match so it wasn't like we were without the ball for large stretches of the game. We lost because Wenger played so many players out of position, Xhaka was poor in midfield and careless with his passing (again), our defence were awful all round, none of our forwards could finish and when they did it was wrongly ruled out for offside.

Those positions are usually filled up by ex-players (either real life or regens), who retire at around 35-40 and can still go on to manage for 30+ more years. I imagine it goes on like that with newly generated players becoming managers over time instead of just generating managers.
