By Can Crusher Go To PostPSG buying Mbappe is too much. It would be delicious if they got banned from CL.I heard FFP evaluation won't actually occur till around fall of 2018

The next Ronaldo at that price would be a great bit of business.

If true (and it's John Cross so take it with a pinch of salt) we should sell him now sign a CM and promote Reiss-Nelson to backup RWB.
He really think he's that good doesnt he lmao
Fucking deluded lad
By Zabojnik Go To Postnow this is what I call a game plan
With Bonucci gone, Pjanic is going to be (even more) crucial for us this season. This is why I'd like to see him paired with Marchisio. This way when one of them drops deep to get the action started, we still have a playmaker in the midfield and don't have to rely on Cuadrado / Costa / Dybala / Mandzukic / Bernardeschi backtracking as much. The latter is brilliant at it, however, so that's something we probably want happening.

Flo telling Mbappe "good luck at PSG" sounds suspiciously like when he decided not to pursue Pogba anymore.
They haven't got the funds. I mean...no shame in it, not sure anybody does.
Is Emery still the PSG coach?

I'm not sure I've ever actually seen Kovacic play a full match before
Impression I get is that he was an AM at Inter, and plays deeper when he gets on the pitch at Madrid. Either way, he's surely good enough for us given the way our midfield has looked since January.

Kovacic is the heir to Modric and has looked explosive all preseason + cup matches we've played so far.
He's our future midfield, why would we let him go?

It was reported yesterday that Claudio Marchisio was of interest to Milan, but Marotta dismissed that.
Marotta “It’s a situation which we’ve read or heard about. Symptoms of dissatisfaction absolutely do not exist at all within the club.
“Marchisio is part of this squad which increases its level of quality year-on-year, and also in midfield we’re different to a few years ago because there’s more competition.
“After that it’s up to the Coach to decide who plays. However, it must be noted that we played 57 official matches last year, along with the international ones, so we really need a competitive squad.
“It’s normal that Marchisio can’t always play, and the same goes for [Sami] Khedira or Matuidi. It’s very normal.”
Leonardo Spinazzola looks set to return from his loan spell with Atalanta, is there an update on that?
“It’s well known that he’s our player, our asset,” Marotta noted.
“It’s common knowledge that we need a profile like his within our squad, but it’s also true we entered into a two-year agreement with Atalanta which we want to honour, because there’s mutual respect between us.
“The fact remains though that this young lad knows Juventus have this need. And, being owned by Juventus, knowing full well that this is an important opportunity, it’s normal that he’s putting on pressure to come to us.
“That’s then going up against the scheduling of Atalanta who quite rightly started planning for their season a long time ago.
“If, in the end, it’s decided that the player will stay there it’ll be up to Atalanta to re-motivate him.
“I want to point out that I spoke to [Atalanta President Antonio] Percassi yesterday and the relationship between us is good.
“Right now in football there’s this continuous dynamic of players not turning up to training or who have to handle certain situations.
“In my opinion Spinazzola’s behaviour is the normal, spontaneous reaction of someone who knows he has the chance to wear the Juventus shirt, and that’s not a small thing.
“We’ve spoken to Spinazzola in recent days and made it clear that we have confidence in him.
“Of course it’s clear that everything can change from year to year and nothing is guaranteed for the future…”
General manager Giuseppe Marotta insists Juventus won’t sign Keita Balde or Patrik Schick this summer.
Lazio forward Keita is absent from training as he tries to force through a move to the Bianconeri, who have maintained that they dropped their interest after a bid was rejected.
Schick, meanwhile, was all-set to join from Sampdoria before he failed a medical, but there have been rumours Juve could come back in for him.
“Keita is a closed topic, just as Schick is a closed topic,” Marotta shrugged, speaking to reporters after Blaise Matuidi’s presentation.
“It’s easy for you [the media] to say Milan, Juventus, or Roma, but for us it’s a closed topic.
“We’re good as we are, then maybe there will be some opportunities.
"Ezequiel Garay? He's a top player, but the conditions aren't there."
FC Astana's comeback against Celtic is live. Only 5 more goals to go, now.
Edit: Scratch that. Only 7.

By Laboured Go To PostWish we'd go and sue Di Maria for being fucking shit.pretty sure we have grounds for suing Dani Alves too but we, galactic clubs, don't do that.
I don't have a clue if their concerns are valid or not, but am I the only one who thinks Barca should go after him if they can? They did a lot of shady shit to get him there and paid him and his dad huge sums of money.. then he tucked tail and ran all while making them look like total chumps. I'd go for my pound of flesh if I were them. The money is kind of a sidebar issue, but you gotta stand up for yourself in some capacity.

I swear Viola are simultaneously the funniest and shittiest club on earth
Fiorentina released a statement criticising Milan director Massimiliano Mirabelli for “denigrating” them during Nikola Kalinic’s presentation.
The striker finally completed his long-awaited transfer today, putting pen to paper in the usual live-streamed video on the Rossoneri’s Facebook page.
During the video, Mirabelli said to Kalinic: “Now enough jokes, put the ball where you know, otherwise we’ll send you back there.”
This offended the Viola, who released a statement on their club website.
“The terms used by the Rossoneri director, who talked about the possibility of letting the Croatian forward return to Fiorentina, used ‘there’ in a denigrating way and that seemed totally out of place, not to mention decidedly avoidable.
“We wish to remind DS Mirabelli that Fiorentina are an important club in which champions who made football history have played and this club represents Florence, one of the most beautiful and famous cities in the world.
“This club therefore deserves and expects, with reference both to today and the future, rigorous respect.”
Mirabelli replied via his own statement on the official Milan website.
“I have always had great respect and admiration for Fiorentina, its owners, managers and fans. If someone perceived in my words a lack of respect, then I apologise.
“I think it was evident, from my tone, expression and body language, that it was meant to be a colloquial joke, certainly not intended to denigrate.”

Are they suing beause of the loyalty bonus?
Doesn't seem wrong to me. Can't have Neymar and his dad orchestrating a deal and coordinating that it happens after a certain date so they can get paid a few extra millions.

Knows we're going nowhere under current management and wants out. The others (Walcott, etc.) have no ambition whatsoever and are happy to sit around collecting wages that they know they won't get anywhere else.
Laboured, could the Arsenal Supporters Group/ Usmanon sue the club for incompetence with Wenger?
My understanding of the law is that a board always has to act in the best interest of the shareholders. Clearly the new two year contract of Wenger has hurt the brand.
Fake edit: then i see that Arsenal's share price has jumped nearly 400 quid this year, 200 since Wenger's contract renewel lol.
