Sell Hazard to Barca and buy Mbappe? That silly rumour seems to be making the rounds.
.... I'd probably do it
.... I'd probably do it
Barca cant even get Paulinho or Verratti. How can they snatch Mbappe from Real?
The Barcelona board right now is at its worst. I doubt they can get anyone that is even close to world class.

By GQman2121 Go To PostIt's really interesting. I hope Kevin Plank and Under Armor are serious about bringing a club to Baltimore. I can't imagine that attendance would be anywhere hear 10k, but another pro sports team in the city (just got arena football this season) is a good thing.I think Miami FC averages 9k per game, which IMO ain't bad especially for Miami. I was surprised how serious ownership took this team and promotions. It's one of the best 'events' in Miami now for your dollar.
Not interested in the MLS at all without relegation. But I'll happily watch a bunch of dudes my age run around for USL or NASL.
I can see UA owners being very serious about the team. Would love for more teams in the NASL at this point, since MLS are pussies an turned down billions for promotion/relegation a week ago.
By flinbad the flailer Go To PostAbout as well as the drone, I'm afraid.Surely Maksimovic will have a larger role this season? By now he should be accustomed to Sarri's tactics.
Another year, another defence with the stability of an Aleppo residential complex.
Its interesting, I remember Empoli under Sarri being fairly well drilled in defence. One would hope he'd have been able to transfer some of that over.
Different systems, mind. Sarri's Napoli play with more abandon. Part of why they're so fun to watch.

I don't watch Sportscenter or any sports news on tv, so I don't know if it was discussed, but MLS needs to get away from how the NFL, NBA, NHL and MLB all do business.
Baseball with their luxury tax is probably the closest we can hope for, but the owners seem all too happy to just maintain and accept new clubs joining that can afford the franchise fee - which seems absurd to me. They keep expanding and the product is still, in my opinion, largely unwatchable on tv. I really can't stand the tv presentation let alone the actually football.
MLS makes bundles of money and is constantly expanding, their model works for them. Sure the on-pitch product is dodgy at best but there's nothing to suggest promotion/relegation or a European league model would change that. The old NASL imploded because owners got greedy and started buying players they can't afford.
There was a good article in the Guardian recently about footballers buying clubs and it talks about the MLS and NASL. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2017/aug/01/didier-drogba-eden-hazard-owners-us-soccer-usl-nasl

Just saw the first episode of Planet Earth 2 with my father. Goddamn, it looks stunning. That's the kind of stuff that shows how good 4K is.

Miggy D filling that Football Weekly void

People wouldn't be anywhere near as upset if Barca were buying him from PSG

I will never forget that episode for eternity, I was blown away by their story and how they were able to capture the whole thing.

Listening now, it's decent. Just going over possible big transfers. Definitely a better level of chat then FW but little banter
By FlutterPuffs Go To PostBarca cant even get Paulinho or Verratti. How can they snatch Mbappe from Real?If Barca do snatch Mbappe, which they easily can given the amount of money the have now, I'd be really disappointed with Perez. Surely we had enough time to lock something about before Barca got their money, we should have signed him already before that Barca board comes knocking.

@The people on last page: the Neymar money can afford the initial fee sure, but can they guarantee a weekly paycheck bigger than Real/PSG can without even more financial issues

Bayern are a having a preseason for the ages. They'll be fine and walk the league but some brutal results this summer.
With those injuries and them saying they aren't done in the window yet, they might go for a big name again
By Xpike Go To Post@The people on last page: the Neymar money can afford the initial fee sure, but can they guarantee a weekly paycheck bigger than Real/PSG can without even more financial issuesI believe (someone please correct me if I'm wrong) that Madrid are offering about half of what Bale makes a year for Mbappe's initial contract. Obviously all speculation. Barca should be able to manage that quite easily considering they're removing Neymar's already substantial wages from their books.
By Xpike Go To Post@The people on last page: the Neymar money can afford the initial fee sure, but can they guarantee a weekly paycheck bigger than Real/PSG can without even more financial issuesMadrid has a strict wage structure so I highly doubt he'd be on more than 100k/w, if that. Monaco wouldn't sell to PSG.
Live Liverpool coach cam pulling up during Bayern / Napoli. I thought it was a fucking Audi commercial at first.
Not watching tonight, going cinema.
Supercup on the 8th, right? I go Greece on the 11th, think I'm flying when Arse Lester kicks off

What's wrong with Bayern, I dont think they lost anyone important? Costa was essentially a bench player with Carlo I think

Napoli are fucking stroking the ball all over the pitch. They looks incredible here. Bayern are chasing shadows.

Mbappe isn't going to get more than 100k at Madrid. PSG isn't an option.
Barca will be freeing up a ton of wages with Neymar leaving.
I think they can manage.
By Slizz Go To PostHas to be Detroit….Welp he hated both The Hurt Locker and Zero Dark Thirty, third time the charm for Bigelow?
Edit: I just realised she made Best Point Break with Nedved and Keanu.
