By Wengward Go To PostReally? He was everywhere. Videos of him destroying the Brazilian league were constant. The opposite of one of those youtube videos that make average players look awesome... making a world class player look like a buffoon.
By Grizzled Cola Go To PostSo much backlash over TFM potentially going out on loan, I dont get what people are seeing other than someone who is a bit of a genetic freakThe infatuation with playing youth online (specifically academy players) has to be videogames. It just has to be.
Internet idiots plug fetus after fetus into their starting line ups and see good results, so why can't they get a chance in real life?
It's the only thing that makes sense.

Sure.
Totally wasn't the wages. Not at all. Nope. Or the odds of winning anything. Nu uh.
By Bold 2 in One Go To PostJust watched Rogue One FINALLY and it is so much better than TFA - so much more personality in that one robot than that hackneyed Reboot Abrams served up.
Honestly really like both. TFA without DeathStar#3 as the big bad would have been a much better film compared to what we got though.

TFA without DeathStar#3 as the big bad would have been a much better film compared to what we got though.TFA isn't a bad film by any means, its just so safe - I think Southpark kind of nailed it - it was more of a nostalgia member trip for fans of the OT.
Whereas R1 actually uses the cameos really well - its by no means perfect, the start of the film is aids and Felicity Jones really struggles with the material but as a whole it really builds momentum and it pleasantly surprised me.

Transfer fee would be the biggest reason.
By Grizzled Cola Go To PostI would play Kane over MorataMe too
I have a feeling we will see a lot of disappointed Chelsea fans this season, Morata won't make it
By Spengo Go To PostThe opposite of one of those youtube videos that make average players look awesome… making a world class player look like a buffoon.Fucking hell Messi is good
As he said this was a few years ago so I don't think he was on big wages then
Also he is making a general point about any striker we might go for
goodnight

terrible opinion; rogue one is choppy, disjointed, terribly acted and then comes together for a pretty good last act
By Scum Go To PostLe Tiss only having 8 caps for England…That football Mavericks series on itv covered a bunch of players that were overlooked for various reasons. Le Tissier, Marsh, Osgood, Bowles, Charile George and even Paul Merson all largely ignored for the national team.
By domino Go To PostNah it's just the moral highground aspect of it so people can crow about their team making their own players like you get a trophy for it or something.Yes, this is true as well. Nothing makes you look down your nose more at the opposition than doing it with someone you consider "one of your own".
Was just looking at squads so far for next year. Genuinely have no idea how City will line up most weeks.
If Kompany stays fit, I could see them playing 3 CBs with Stones in the Luiz/Bonucci role with Kompany and Otamendi (maybe even Fernandinho?) alongside him. Mendy and Walker as full backs or wing backs in a 5, with Danilo covering either. That's simple enough; let's say they play 4 at the back for simplicity.
Then, for six spaces, you have:
- David Silva
- Bernardo Silva
- Yaya
- Fernandinho
- Gundogan
- Sane
- Sterling
- De Bruyne
- Aguero
- Gabriel Jesus
I know football is a squad game now, but jesus.
And they still have Nasri, Mangala, Delph and Bony on the wage bill.

By n8 dogg Go To Postterrible opinion; rogue one is choppy, disjointed, terribly acted and then comes together for a pretty good last actIts one of those greater than the sum of its parts films. Like I said, the starting parts were garbage but it all comes together quite well and the plot culminates in a meaningful way more so than TFA.
Missed the friendly but glad to see we styled on em. Think we'll be a force this season if we can add one or two more players to the squad.
Salah clearly fits the system. Friendly of not that much is clear.

In games where City don't score 3+ goals I think they might struggle. They're going to concede goals on the counter, but they're also going to score a fuck ton.
I bought that cap Conte is wearing in GQ's avatar. Great quality and looks good. I'm glad "dad hats" seem to be in right now lol they've always been the best.

By Wengward Go To PostSeen a people asking why Neymar's release clause was so small. Doubt Barca expected the market to jump this high this quickly.Messi's was "only" €250m until his new deal raised it to €300m. Neymar at €222m made sense. Cristiano is a total baby so Madrid gave him a €1b release clause but the others on the team are more "realistic." Either way, I'm sure Barca didn't expect a club to trigger it any time soon.

Yes?
By Willkiller Go To PostYes?When did Ronaldo (his agent) ask for a 1b release clause? And why?
i may be speaking crazy here but i think its so madrid knows no one is stupid enough to trigger that clause and take their star player away
that release clause is nothing odd for Madrid, carvajal is 350m. Neymar sr probably had something to do with Neymar being only that high, and also Barca board being naive
