By rossonero Go To PostSo you have a lot of money because you've barely spent in the last couple of years, but you're willing to sell a player that according to you neither the president nor the coach want to sell? Yeah, sure.Actually, you're right on the ball. Neither Zidane or Perez want to really sell, but hey, if a club is going to drop 90m on Morata why not sell? The team is stacked af, Morata leaving or staying isn't going to make or break us. However, if he does end up leaving we'll find a replacement for him and that replacement seems to be Mbappe.
By FortuneFaded Go To PostWell, not everything…Regular Karl Pilkington over here.
By Ciaran Go To Posthmmyeah, that would be lovely.
Morata is the complete opposite of that Lukaku essay
Gets disheartened easily after a miss but he loves a big game and used to run his ass off both with and off the ball
So get both :lol
We are still missing another midfielder, and a winger/wingback though. I'd rather we spent the rest of this year's transfer budget on that.
By Meier Go To PostRegular Karl Pilkington over here.I was talking about his headband m8.
I cannot imagine either Morata or Lukaku being happy sharing match time nor can I imagine them playing together
But if that can be worked out id be happy with both
One good CM and this window is officially great.

Lindelof, Fabinho, Griezmann would have been extraordinary
Lindelof, Fabinho, Lukaku will be very very good
Lindelof, Matic, Lukaku will be quite good

I just don't get why a rich club that doesn't need money would sell a player that the coach wants at any price. It could be useful for Mbappe with another year in Monaco, he is only 18 years old after all. Next season you could have both Morata and Mbappe in the team, with the "old" Benzema on his way out.

By Barzul Go To PostGiroud to Marseille for 25m + addons….hard to say no to that.Hmm that could mean Bacca is staying.
Lingard is legit the least cool footballer on the planet, entirely because he thinks he's cool af and just isn't. He's a tit.
By Barzul Go To PostGiroud to Marseille for 25m + addons….hard to say no to that.Wow lol dumb deal. Gomis has been fine, there is no need for a new striker when the backline and keeper are still trash.
By Hitch Go To PostThe Fridge and The Ox innitGiven how news has completely dried up since the VVD debacle, I'm guessing it's more of a case of keeping news locked up. And tbf, it seems that deals for Robertson and Ox are still plausible, though both would be backup.
Honestly thought before the season ended that we'd be linked to like a dozen players, given our obvious need for numbers as well as quality. Also thought Lucas and Moreno would be gone by now. Thought Lucas was out of contract, even.
We've only really had Salah, Keita and VVD though. Every other link has basically dissipated within a day of it first emerging. Hopefully we're just keeping our cards close to our chest. If we go into a CL season with last season's squad+Salah, we're asking for trouble and completely relying on getting very lucky with injuries.

If it ends up Lindelof, Matic, Lukaku id settle, agreed its not tier 1, but its in the realm of "No excuses not to challenge" which is all I want, no aspersions of winning the league.
We will buy one or two more than that I am just talking about ready made to slot into the first team, what I quite like about Matic/Lukaku is that there shouldnt be a grace period for them, they know the league, they know their jobs, no excuses.

Good thing he's absolutely shit, so it isn't as annoying as it could be.
By rossonero Go To PostFair enough. Here's what the tin-foil hat wearing me is thinking.

Perez is playing the long game, ensuring no club who is/was interested in Mbappe signs Mbappe this year. Arsenal are out now that they got their signing. United are in for Lolkaku and or possibly Morata. Barca have Suarez and are cash strapped. Bayern are committed to Lewa. Juve have Higgs. City are stacked up front. Chelsea don't seem to be showing any interest, plus they're cheap af.
That leaves out all potential buyers... Allows Mbappe to stay in France for another year, so as to prove himself furthermore. Finally, this opens the door for Benzema/Morata to leave next year and Madrid sign Mbappe during the time when the whole world is watching the World Cup.
My theory is so crazy that it may just be true.

Morata can play with anyone, he even played wide for us most of the time.
By Hitch Go To PostLingard is legit the least cool footballer on the planet, entirely because he thinks he's cool af and just isn't. He's a tit.Nice lad though to be fair, but absolutely no swag about him at all
Glad we have him as a player, he doesnt mind being squad, he does a job and he isnt nearly as bothersome when he can fit in and aroudn where needed as opposed to being default first choice because there is no-one else reliable.
By sohois Go To PostGiven how news has completely dried up since the VVD debacle, I'm guessing it's more of a case of keeping news locked up. And tbf, it seems that deals for Robertson and Ox are still plausible, though both would be backup.Robertson would feel like a bit of a stop-gap imo
Would like someone who will inevitably replace Milner at some point, and I'm not sure Robertson is that player. Having said that, there is a paucity of decent leftbacks on the market as far as I can tell, so we may well have to settle for someone who isn't ideal. Don't really know why we're not interested in Mendy, considering the way prices have gone the £40m necessary to get into the coversation sounds perfectly reasonable to me.
Weeew Götze is back and looks proper fit.
What a team. Soon Shinji is gonna extend his contract hopefully <3

The amount of hate Lingard gets is incredible. I don't get it. It's not like he's a twat like Fellaini on the pitch, or doing stupid shit off the pitch.....

*Call Mbappe*
"Kylian, do you wanna come to Madrid? Okay good. Just sit tight for a year and we'll come get you next year. If anybody comes to get you give me a call and I'll come get you this year. Bye."
That's the deal. Anybody going for him is wasting their time. That's why nobody is going for him.

Wenger will still sign Mbop.
Firmino is uglier than Lingard.
We are going to win the league.

At a certain point dabbing must be a sign of mental illness, ive been in groups of people where if they did it at the rate some of these footballers do they would be sent to a psychologist and put on psych meds.

Bit of a pout in his resting face, but
Massive season for the lad next year. Expect him to be at least as good as he was last season, hopefully without the bad injury in the middle and subsequent tanking of form.

By Vivalapizza Go To PostDid they ever get to the bottom of what was wrong with him and why?Yep.
Metabolic disorder that heavily affected both his weight, despite eating healthy and constantly created muscular problems.
Those problems have been already a thing during his Bayern days, but it got worse and our doc wanted to find out why these problems were coming up on a regular basis.
The treatment went well and he looks proper fit again and hopefully that's a thing of the past now.
Curious how he will be without these problems.
