By Ciaran Go To PostNah don't be naiveWouldn't say he is doing Milan at all. Raiola had managed to turn people away from Donnarumma and hate himself. People are tired of this drama and just want to end. 5000 fans at season's first practice yesterday and no mention of Donnarumma from anybody.
look at his clients, and how he's fucking DOING Milan

By mos6142 Go To PostEverton probably using united to get Chelsea on alert, big money transfers like this takes weeks of negotiations. The optics of bringing in a nearly retired player based on sentiments, and selling your young star to the same club is moronicNo, Simon Stone is reporting it. He's our best United insider.
Fair chance Mou wants him to weaken Chelsea though.

they're pulling a Good Cop/Bad Cop routine here :lol and he's the poor kid stuck in the middle
By n8 dogg Go To PostGood move for him. Would be utterly foolish to go on loan again when they are buying Bakayoko.Well one year left on his current deal, so a loan is out of the question if he doesn't sign the offer that's apparently on the table.
They're saying Conte likes, and wants to use him, but he's obviously not going to start. The player just wants to get on with his career which is fair. He's never been able to solidify a permanent position anywhere he's played and there doesn't seem to be a lot of interest in him outside of Watford where he was loaned as a 17 year old five years ago. So £5m is probably fair for all involved.
If he and Matic leave this week they'll have to have someone else lined up to come in though.
Raiola's plan crumbled, that much is true, but he and the boy landed on both feet. 6M€ + 1M€ is significantly more than Milan were expecting to shell out for Gigio's new contract. We'll see how the other players like getting paid significantly less than a 18 yo not-yet-great GK with a brother in tow. The release clause is sensible on paper and will provide a nice tesoretto, should Milan fail to achieve CL football this upcoming season, which despite the general ushoptimism they still might. 50M€ is nothing to sneeze at and probably a good 10-15M€ more than what they'd have got by selling his this summer.
Still, it's the general climate around the player that should worry them. Milan have got nothing to fear from the fans, who are clearly on the club's side on this one. But things have a way of spiraling out of control and I'd be very curious to see how the ambient reacts, if and when Dollarumbo sails into a rough patch. He was very clearly affected by the whole situation during the U21 EC, which doesn't bode well.

By Ciaran Go To PostFeel like Milan are duped into thinking that his parents are on their side btwI was actually thinking that it could be a tactic to get Donnarumma in the fans' good grace by painting the Donnarumma family as the good guys and Raiola as the bad guy. You know that Raiola doesn't mind that scenario as long as he gets his. But I'm not sure Milan will give him his 20% commission of the next sale.

That surely makes him the best paid goalkeeper in the world, right? Which would make him the best GK in the world and that he isn't. Yet anyway.

But such a contract may be worth a CL push and to avoid having a disgruntled 18 year old kid in the locker room for a year. Also if he leaves next season anyway, Milan are guaranteed more money than they would get if they sell this summer or in the worst case lose him for free the next.
The thing that keeps me up at night is instead the Cuadrado rumor. Please tell me it ain't true.

Seems like it at the moment.
Let's 4-4-fucking2 it lads.
By Laboured Go To PostWord is Conte has wanted Llorente since he took over at Chelsea. Would.be a decent back up.

I'm sure there's others.

Cuadrado? You should be so lucky. Seriously, he gets much more flak than he deserves. When on form, he's can be absolutely brilliant.

I hate this so much
Meh Morata will be fine. He's at Real Madrid, 2nd choice behind an aging Benzema.
I'm not sure if we fucked him over or we are just fed up with Real being cunts about the transfer.
The ones getting fucked here is in the end Chelsea, with Costa leaving, and a dearth of top strikers available.

He took time off his honeymoon.
We made several bids for him. His club didn't want to sell. He should take it up with them.

I think I'm excited? Agree with what n8 said about attitude/application and his record against shit-hot teams, but if he can help us batter some of the shit-shit teams then I'm all for it.
Was Chelsea's interest genuine or a screen for someone else (would have no idea who)? If so, this is even better.

The funniest thing is that Mourinho was the one who pushed the sale of Lukaku when he was at Chelsea. The board wanted to keep him.
