By FlutterPuffs Go To PostNier and Horizon a 7/10?
Them's fighting words Yurt.
He's being kind, they are pure 6/10 material.
By hixx Go To PostI feel like it would be a Witcher 3 situation though where it comes to a head and you get REKT. But that was a cool scene.Once you're finished and got the true ending, I'll send you a picture D:
Diner gives 3 Knowledge and 1 Guts when it rains. I think Library is 2 and 1.
Oh I forgot about the rain. I did learn mostly at the cafe either through learning or by reading books. Once you got the location on the map with the book shop (not the one in the city centre), the shopkeeper sells you a book and after you read it, you can get another one. After four books you get one that basically speeds up the reading process and you can read two chapters instead of just one.
I go outta my way to avoid romances in games. Gamings depiction of women in relationships is jarring, especially in JRPGs where they moan after compliments. If I absolutely HAD TO pick someone to romance I go for the guys because they aren't drama queens.
although that didn't work out for me too well in Dragon Age nothing did actually
I remember reading about P4G's plot twist and absolutely loving it! I have faith this story will go places soon
(although it's rather obvious whats gonna happen I think)

By NinjaFridge Go To PostSomething to do with the round avatars.....
If any of you are going for the Plat in Persona 5 make sure you don't miss a mission. Had to do an entire extra playthrough because Mishima didn't send me one early in the summer before I completed his 4th rank social link.
By Slizz Go To PostWooden left?it still gets me that he changed his avatar into a black dot and his name into a W to emphasis that he's upset <3 love him
although I wouldn't romance him in a game that's for sure
I thought he was preparing for a trip and had no time to post...or maybe I'm thinking of somebody else, you all blur together lately.

The only Platinums I have are Sly Cooper (which you basically get for completing it) and some Telltale games (ditto). Highly doubt Persona, of all games, will join those.
By Andrew Go To PostIt's very charming with all the street art and old colonial buildings.Omg you're in Penang?
Blown away by the food most of all though. I was wandering around the city yesterday when I arrived and stumbled upon a street food stall in a market with an incredibly long line of Malaysians (an hour long). Not knowing what it was, I just joined for the craic. Turned out it was Mee Sotong. Plate of fried squid and noodles for 5 ringgit. just incredible.
Malaysia so far seems like this mix of Indian and Chinese with hints of Britishness. I don't know if I have a handle on what Malaysian culture actually is.
Growing up in Singapore, Penang was my among my first holidays when I was 2 or 3 years old, it's a lot different than it was back then but I remember driving up there and the AC in our car was busted, and our backs stuck to the fake corinthian leather. CD player was in the boot for some reason so we constantly had Queen/Bon Jovi/Guns N Roses scoring our road trips.
Used to always make a pit stop at a service station that seemingly only we stopped at and looked borderline abandoned. Dead insects and flies everywhere and the whole area stunk of death. Called it the Zombie Petrol Station. Was real useful for getting batteries for my gameboy tho. That exchange rate.
The food was great of course, but I was used to it and didn't really appreciate it till later.
Really need to visit Malaysia again some day, though all my Singapore friends & fam keep telling me not to (naturally, of course).
The late 90s were an incredible time for human existence.
By Slizz Go To PostI can't imagine platinum'ing a game. I barely just beat the single player games I play.I've got like 22 platinums
By hixx Go To PostHe went to a festival but he's been back for like a week.ah, that's a shame he's a fun dude. People should just forget the notion of #leaving and #staying, just post whenever you feel like it and when you don't feel like it then don't post. If it was up to me I'd stick to just twitter honestly, as I like their platform more than forums (ALL forums)

Platinums hmm, I think just Bloodborne because it was easy to get, but that took me more than a year because I also go outta my way to avoid going for achievements :lol

Managed to sneak into the bar at the top too, that infinity pool looks even more ridiculous up close.
But yeah, Singapore is too far to justify for most people... - but I've yet to meet someone who went there (and spent their time wisely) who ever regretted the expense or the trouble. I'm trying to justify a trip there after graduation *hopefully*
By Ciaran Go To PostI'd tag along, on your treat.

but let's face it, if you go to Southeast Asia, it's to eat. Singapore has some incredible places too, like that Michelin star chicken rice stall.

By Cleff Go To PostCycling is the most bent sport going.I feel like some of the doping in cycling is used regularly in football....... All that shit so you get more oxygen in your blood and never seem to fatigue matches up with the harsh schedule of football.
Institutionalised doping up the wazoo.
Doping is a part of football as well. Part of most sports really.
But the lengths the cycling community goes to explain away, deflect or completely ignore potential doping is staggering. Journos covering cycling are the worst. Looking Matthew Syed and Dennis Walsh. Marginal gains me bollix.

Covering it like it doesn't exist is another thing. Don't follow cycling that much though either so theres that.
So this is the end then?
The end of all things?
Could United please sign someone before the curtains come down. Just for a little titillation?
