Glad to see the back of Matic. I don't care about the money, but it's a fair price and outright pays for Bakayoko. Think all parties involved should be happy with how the deal played out.
He's going to either struggle in a mid three because of his indecisions, and lack of pace, or he's going to be paired with someone (Fellaini, Herrara or Carrick) where he'll not be asked to defend much side to side and can focus on being disruptive and move laterally with and without the ball. That's where he'll excel.
Working with Kante last season and having to work the ball wide before moving forward was not his game. He's too slow and not good enough on the ball.
But with someone defending next to him, and Pogba in front of both of them - that's where this purchase makes sense to me. Going to be interesting, and probably at times, frustrating to watch and/or play against.
