By OneTwoTee Go To PostNeymar should try harder if he's tired of being in Messi's shadow.
Barca to PSG is certainly a step down.
"Try harder"
Lol. he is the greatest player of all time.
By il Diavolo Go To PostRead somewhere Roma might need surgery? I fucking hope not.Fuck really? He was supposed to come back last month after his meniscus injury.

barca are dying, we've known this for a while
neymar getting out at a good time
barca getting good money but will undoubtedly waste it
once simeone is gone la liga will be a one team league, so league related arguments are moot
motm is neymar sr

Barca will be fine.
Messi is 30 years old, he is not Totti, but I can see him still dominating games like nobody else for the next 7 years.
Really happy the boy Jack is back. Been our best performer these past couple years and it's no coincidence our season went to hell as soon as he got injured.

Barca, pls. Don't waste the Neymar money. Watch as the Board tries to steal it all for themselves.
By LFMartins86 Go To Post7 years? You are crazy.Messi is going to make it to the next World Cup and that'd be it.
By LFMartins86 Go To Post7 years? You are crazy.
Why?
Totti had one leg and was still statiscally one of the best players in Europe when he was 38.
Messi's game is not built on speed, and players generally play longer than they did two decades ago.
Unless he suffers a real serious injury, I just can't see how he doesn't continue to play at a high level for years to come.
Neymar is essentially puling a Figo. Figo saw the downfall of Barca, so he left camp and won titles elsewhere while during 5-7 years Barca weren't wining after he left. I'm not saying Barca wont win, I think they will, but it's clear they're having issues. For example, their 500m renovation project has been delayed for so long, why, because they have no money.
Here is what I think will happen, there is a lot of players and teams linked up with the big moves.
City lose out on the upcoming transfers
Barca can't sign Coutinho and keep Neymar (and pay the new contracts they signed with Ter, Messi, Iniesta, etc)
Klopp probably has already been advised that Barca will come for Coutinho
Mbappe probably wants the BBC dismantled and have a spot ensured for him, don't be treated as an 18 year old but instead as an elite player already established
Neymar goes to PSG
Bale goes to United
Mbappe goes to Madrid
Coutinho goes to Barca
Dembele to Madrid next year (replace that Bale spot)

pay your bills for Bonucci first.
By LFMartins86 Go To Post7 years? You are crazy.if he loses his pace, play him deeper and he will still be a world class midfielder.
I agree yeah, he will be around that level for a long time.
By Shanks D Zoro Go To Postpay your bills for Bonucci first.you already got de sciglio debt paid

I bet that is how the owners think it works.
messi doesnt fix how every other part of barca's team has not been properly replaced, especially the midfield
By Xpike Go To Postmessi doesnt fix how every other part of barca's team has not been properly replaced, especially the midfield
You are right, but they tried to get the player who would make him better, but PSG wouldn't play ball. Obviously, a bug problem is that there seems to be no plan B
Madrid are so charmed I wouldn't be surprised if they figured out a way to get Mbop and keep the BBC
Can't see Neymar going to PSG being a good career move at all
Nobody cares about anything anyone does in France, they won't be winning the CL even with him, and he'll likely stuggle to get a move away if and when he wants one as PSG would demand an insane amount of money for him (then again, so did Barca...)
Even meme-machine Zlatan's accomplishments at PSG were greeted with mild curiosity rather than anyone actually being impressed

By Razor Go To PostFor PSG to win CL they would first need a proper coach. Emery is fucking shite. That's not true. Chelsea won it without a proper manager.

By Hitch Go To PostCan't see Neymar going to PSG being a good career move at allThat's funny, I could have swore that we were all gushing at how fun Monaco was to watch this past season.. And PSG in the CL almost made it but chocked hard + got some nasty calls against them in the return leg. Ohh also, France also arguably has the best national team to boot.

What I'm trying to say I guess is that France is up and coming and look very promising.
Messi won't pointlessly extend his career because he doesn't know when to walk away. He'll do it on his terms still at the top, having been the best player who ever lived. I don't expect to see 37 y/o Messi still around.
"Nobody cares about anything anyone does in France"
I don't think Neymar really cares that Hitch doesn't care about France.

I can see Messi retiring from internationals after the WC.
Totti still managed nearly 40 games as a 38 year old.
Messi has never had a serious injury, and with the way players now take care of their bodies better than ever, unless you are English, then I don't see a problem.
