re: Neymar move
I get the guy for wanting to leave, he's always going to be Messi's shadow in Barcelona, but I can't help but think the board is cluster fucking this so hard. Somehow the board needed to avoid this from happening before it started, I'm thinking in a few years from now this deal will be considered a huge win for PSG - what do they care about money? With Neymar, Verratti, Di Maria and Co they have a solid foundation to work upon. They'll attract so much talent going forward it's not even gonna be funny.
...while Barcelona have an aging Suarez and Messi (who arguably still has a few great years ahead of him), while not being able to integrate younglings from their academy. I mean, what if Demebe or Coutinho don't work out? That'll be such a fuck up, ouf.

They're apparently doing mo-cap for GTA6. Look forward to SP being completely ignored after release.

By Frustrated_me Go To PostPSG will pay more than the release clause so as to avoid taxes, it's what we did with Theo and Atletico.what?
Barca gonna go in for Mbappe too? What's this I'm hearing?
if you pay more than the release clause you don't have to pay taxes? Spain can't be so stupid
By #ForzaMilan Go To PostAnd I saw De Sciglio vs PSG what a player. Fantastic crosses. Not having him to Milan will definitely be a loss to our rivalsAh, summer, the season of illusions. This is truly shaping up to be the best season in years.

Thing is, it's just another racing game.
By Elchele Go To Postwhat?I don't know the exact details but yeah something along those lines, and it allows you to pay in installments too. Of course Barca would have to accept, which I don't see why they wouldn't.

I'd need to ring uncle Flo to expand on this subject.

Trying to DL Fire Walk with Me and the Missing Pieces on my parents broadband. Racing along with a pacey 15KBs.
Really enjoyed the second season of TP. I LOL'ed (laughed out loud) in nearly every episode. Season finale was great too.

They should be looking to win now. How much more talent do they need to not choke in the CL?

By Elchele Go To Postwhy does Keita want to join Liverpool? He's playing in CL this season at RBIf I had to guess: bigger club, better league, more money.
Do Liverpool know if it will be a tragedy if they get knocked in the qualifying stage? Conte was unsure.
By Wengward Go To PostLiverpool are in the CL.I had to google to confirm if you were joking or not
By Zabojnik Go To PostIf I had to guess: bigger club, better league, more money.Yeah, I get that. Liverpool is a great club and more money for sure but are Liverpool giving money ala Man Utd, City in salaries? I don't think he's starving with his current salary at Leipzig, and he'll play CL as an absolute starter. Seems like a huge risk atm, last season was his first season in a top league. Could end up like Renato

Aside from the fact that he'll make 4 times his current salary? Probably the fact that Liverpool is a real club that doesn't have the financier's brand in the team name. Also, Premier League

"a real club" is debateable.

money and attention. maybe Klopp but he isn't that special to where I'd think it'd be a decisive factor.
i wonder if players consider the next next move when they make these decisions though. if he goes to Liverpool that's pretty much cutting off the EPL megaclubs to him for his next move. personally i wouldn't want to go to a Liverpool or Spurs if I had dreams of playing for United, City or Chelsea. slim to no chance those 2nd tier clubs will sell to that true top tier these days.
whereas if he goes to a team in Italy he could still end up at a Juve or a Milan as they do business w/ each other a lot more freely.
same w/ staying in the Bundesliga and ending up at Bayern.
or anywhere in Spain bar AM and ending up at RM or Barca.

It's only going to be a huge win for PSG if they manage to win CL or two in the next few years. They still have loser mentality and another 6-1 result incoming this season wouldn't surprise me one bit. Signing Neymar and winning only bunch of Ligue 1 titles would be catastrophic.

We actually do have pretty good new talent coming through. Carles Alana has impressed Barca fans in both games vs Juve and United and i will bet that he will eventually be bigger star than Ceballos for an example.
Luis Enrique was fucking garbage when it came to handling the youth players. Valverde did great with youth players in Bilbao and he will continue to do it also with Barca. On the plus side is that Barcelona B plays in Segunda now. Much better than rotting in Segunda B
