In the US, NBC had an excellent thing going with all Premier League games live with a cable subscription.
They've now ended that and want an additional $50 a year to access the same amount of content.
Every club will have at minimum 3 games a year that are only available via the new $50 side package. We'll see how it goes but I expect some of the smaller clubs to have twice that amount or more walled off.
I have cable details that I use for NBC, Fox and beIN that covers the Premier League and limited Championship, La liga, Bundesliga, Ligue 1 and Serie A games including all their cup comps and the Champions League.
The problem is, is that outside of NBC - Fox and beIN's platforms are unreliable as shit in both quality and functionality. So you don't really get what you pay for.
In the end, illeagal streams are the way to go. Don't support anything if you can help it. Everything is far too fractured and there are far too many cooks in the kitchen with their hands in the coffer. I actually might do that all in one site that Wooden recommended this year.

I'm not saying I necessarily disagree with them holding out for more, it's just incredible to fathom the market is so out of wack that a guy like him could be worth that much to anyone let alone more than that. I guess they could buy Gylfi Siggurdson with half that and not be that much worse off and then try and add a guy like a Julian Brandt.

Tbf, we don't fall without Couts, but if we do sell him the scenario is eerily similar to other transfer windows under FSG (like three seasons ago with Suarez); one step forward two steps back which makes you think that they only bid those figures for Keita et al because they knew Coutinho was going for a large sum.
