Started watching Alien Covenant last night (fell asleep during it...) and while I really like Prometheus, this film really doubles down on the "fucking idiot" character trait for everyone doesn't it? To the point where it felt insulting. When the first two people get infected I was flailing my arms around in disbelief at the sheer stupidity of all of them. When she slipped in the blood I would have turned it off if I could have been arsed to switch my Sky box on to watch more Curb.

Yeah, very similar to me, I actually really liked Prometheus, but Covenant was fucking awful.

It's pretty jarring that Stevie Ryan killed herself and I've barely seen any mention. Granted she started as a 'youtube' star but she did parlay that to a TV show. Had a depression/anxiety help podcast, did one last episode where she mentioned her grandfather died and what not and how she was going to spiral back in. Heartbreaking.

Annoyingly I cant get sky in my flat because my landlord is an asswhole and doesnt want a dish to ruin the asthetics so more curious than anything else.
