They got Klopp, who was their #1 managerial target since the beginning. As soon as they fired Hodgson, Klopp was the name that the media was constantly briefed on as the ideal replacement.
They have their CEO, and their transfer committee. They always sought out a collaborative approach that brings statistics into recruitment and wanted a CEO to spearhead the commercial side.
They have Champions League. It's so competitive in the PL that we may not be repeat qualifiers, but they have targeted a consistent CL-qualifying squad as their main goal.
They have their stadium expansion, much more affordable than a new ground, but with more facilities for corporate high-paying supporters.
Now that all of the club is highly stable, and there's clear trust around all parts that everyone is working toward the same goal, the ambition and investment will start to materialize. And now with the market getting as crazy as it is, I think they're looking at players like Keita and thinking it's better to pay 70 for him now than see him go to Bayern for 48m (his release clause that comes into effect in 2018) next season and be left competing for god knows what crazy fees players will be commanding next year.

Origi, Sturridge, Ings, Solanke isn't exactly the most convincing collection but I know Firmino is likely to start with some combination of Mane, Salah and Coutinho. Could he go 4-2-4 and maybe play all of them with Henderson holding?

Why are we being linked with Adrien Silva? He's a good player but he's 28 and is not better than Wanyama or Dembele. He would be competing with Dier and Winks for a squad role and for €30m that is not Levy's style. For €10m maybe I could see the logic in thickening that area while Winks and Dembele recover from injury, but the quoted priced is madness.
