By Lunatic Go To PostAlien Covenant & Wonder Woman are out in the usual places lads.Happy 150, man! Things were indeed insane over here in the GTA even if the weather was rainy af.
Also happy belated Canada Day to Frustrated and Disso the 150th was fucking crazy out here in Victoria.
Was definitely a bit jarring to see such a heavy police presence with armored vehicles and snipers on roofs but overall a great day.

Ruben Neves to Wolves? That's apparently on the cards...didn't Madrid want him like a year or two ago? He must've dipped in form massively.
By Barzul Go To PostRuben Neves to Wolves? That's apparently on the cards…didn't Madrid want him like a year or two ago? He must've dipped in form massively.Only played around 13 league matches last season and most of them as a sub. I already talked about this transfer before but this is a pure Mendes move. Porto needs money quick, Mendes drops the player at one of "his" clubs and collects a big fee.
By Killer7 Go To PostSlaent's true ITK.Stupidest story I heard this weekend was Gelson + William Carvalho to Arsenal for 80M€. The guy who mentioned it somewhere else I hang around has been spot on this summer, beating the media on the Doumbia, Mathieu and Coentrão deals in days but I still feel that it doesn't make sense.

Excuse me sir, as the foremost authority on Mr Naby Keita (having watched 15+ minutes of YouTube footage), I do believe this is an excellent use of money.
By Pennywise Go To PostWhat a waste of money. But you have to appreciate the ambition. Klopp is their guy, and if this is what it takes to land his man, then it has to be nice to continue to read about being linked.
The only time I've watched him is when he came off the bench and scored against BVB.
Is anyone linked with Timo Werner?
By GQman2121 Go To PostIs anyone linked with Timo Werner?IIRC Liverpool were for a bit but otherwise, no one really. Probably Bayern bound.
I'd take him over Mahrez and Pedro and whoever else we are linked with
Werner would flop in any top club

Definitely wouldn't bet against a goalscoring young German eventually ending up at Bayern. So that makes sense.
By GQman2121 Go To PostDefinitely wouldn't bet against a goalscoring young German eventually ending up at Bayern. So that makes sense. He's not on that level yet, still has to grow alot to get anywhere close to Bayerns level.
Even though Bayern is buying players like Gnabry....
Keita is a good player, but for that absurd amount of money you could get Dani Ceballos,Demirbay, Goretzka.
Liverpool got other issues that afford money. Good CB option, LB/RB alternative, and a decent striker that can handle crosses and some decent bench players.

By Perfect Blue Go To PostPenny, talk to me about Jeremy Toljan pls. Promising young talent or naw?Played decently for the U21, but that's about it.
Isn't really delievering on the club level where it counts and I doubt he's gonna be a starter with 30+ games.
Neither defensive nor his attacking is really good. Tackles are pretty bad actually and the same can be said about his crosses and the lack of concentration every once in a while.

By Elchele Go To Postyou guys really don't know anything outside of Premierracist leagueI only watch Ligue 1 and the Premier League. It's hard enough watching two leagues combined with the other sports I like (baseball and hockey), so you can just fuck off.

Werner has been around forever. I do understand about someone like Toljan
I'm not sure what Premierracist league means.
Especially when other leagues have much worse racial issues off and on the pitch than the EPL.

Stuttgart was a different matter due their situation and Werner didn't exactly set the world on fire there.
So he wasn't exactly known unless you follow the league a bit more thoroughly.
